Staff were very friendly and welcoming. The facilities were good and the room was decent for the price. The A/C and heating were a godsend. The room was decorated nicely and the hotel was easy to find. The TV was a bit old and slow but we managed to plug in our firestick and watch films. Towels, soap, kettle and minifrodge were provided which was nice. Also provided extra pillows and a thick blanket. Close to a lot of restaurants/takeaway and close to the train station/metro.

Sound proofing wasn't amazing as we could hear people walking down the corridor. The window was broken (top half wouldn't lock properly) so we could hear some noise from the outside and had a bit of a draft (double room - 102) but it was not a major inconvenience as closing the shutters and blinds reduced this. Also the bedding was nice but really thin especially for a winter booking where it was still quite cold outside. There was a blanket we could use but I would have prefered a thicker blanket instead as I'm not entirely sure how regularly the blanket gets washed.

It is a City Hotel. The location is reachable by walks from Central Station, Metro, and many attractions. It’s recommended if you are a couple or with friends. We booked Standard Double room, the room is enough for 2pax. The bed is comfortable also the cleaning is done daily. The owner (guy) and the mom are welcoming as well.

The wall is thin, you can hear people talking from hallway and also the main street. so if you are a light sleeper it could matter. Personally, we are fine.

I recently stayed at the Calypso Hotel in Milan, and it was an absolutely delightful experience. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the cleanliness and neatness of the room. It was well-equipped with all the necessities, including a convenient kettle and a fridge, which made my stay even more comfortable. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep after a day of exploring the city. Speaking of location, the hotel is superbly situated with easy access to both the metro and bus stops, making it a breeze to get around Milan. What truly set this hotel apart was the staff. They were friendly and extremely helpful, always ready to assist with any requests or queries I had. Their recommendations for local dining and sightseeing were spot on. I wholeheartedly recommend Calypso Hotel to anyone visiting Milan. It's a fantastic place to stay, and I'm certain I'll be returning in the future!

Quite dark in the room and noise from other rooms. Not the safest area to stay at.

The shower was amazing. Great water pressure fantastic heat, and decent sized shower. The staff was welcoming and accommodating. The terrace was facing a good location. The room was a good distance from transportation and attractions.

The staircases were slippery and narrow while spiraling. This resulted in a fall with cuts and bruises The fridge did not work. Even on the highest setting it was warm in the fridge.

The room had a fun vibe with very tall ceilings with beams. The location was easy to walk to from the grand train station. The bathroom was clean and had very good plumbing.

The room was a bit small. Outside the hotel was in a neighborhood with a lot of graffiti, so it felt kind of shabby. The towels seemed a bit old and thin.

The hotel is located right next to the central train station and the famous coursa Buenos Aires, making it a perfect place to stay. The room facilities were very good and bonus points for the big balcony. The staff was very helpful and went out of the way to cater my requests.

The hotel is located on great location, near central station. Room is spatious and nicely decorated. It has everything you need. Staff was nice and friendly.

It would be great to add some utensils like forks and spoons.

Good location, the entrance door to the hotel is locked with a key fob, so as a tourist I felt safe. The room was very clean, there is also a small kitchen with basic things such as a kettle, tea, coffee and a fridge. The bathroom was clean, there was a hairdryer, soap and gel. Hotel staff very nice and helpful.

Lovely, clean hotel in a great location, close to the Central station with the old fashioned tram no. 1. stopping right around the corner. The staff in the hotel were so friendly and helpful with clear passion for their hotel and keen to make the stay as comfortable as possible.
