We absolutely loved everything about this place. It comes highly rated, but honestly, it deserves an even higher rating – excellent value for money. The apartment’s interior is tastefully designed, creating a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere. Good location, very peaceful at night, yet conveniently close to a variety of nice restaurants within walking distance.  Our room was lovely, featuring a comfortable bed, spotless cleanliness (with daily housekeeping service), and a serene view of the inner garden, which added to the overall charm. The Wi-Fi was fast and reliable throughout our stay. What truly made this experience exceptional, however, was the owner, Walter.  He is a deeply thoughtful and attentive host, and his genuine interest in our professional and artistic interests made a significant difference. Thanks to his insightful recommendations, we enjoyed in the hidden gems of Milano. Enriching conversations about art, culture, and lifestyle during our breakfasts—turning what could have been simple meals into memorable experiences. Walter is not just a host, he is an exeptional and profound person who left a lasting impression on us. From the warm welcome to the heartfelt farewell, everything was outstanding. If there is one regret, it’s that we didn’t stay longer. We will most certainly return and make this our accommodation of choice.

The entry way! It is so colourful. The shared common areas were decorated as in a home, plants, collections on display, a settee, a balcony to sit outside. We liked the large bed with top sheet, as well as doona. Our welcome from Evalina was friendly and warm, so nice to be greeted personally. Our breakfast, served by Walter, was continental, but plenty. Lovely to be served coffee. Chatting with the other guests over breakfast was nice, too. Being able to store our bags for the morning was very helpful. Area was close to restaurants, in a residential area, and very quiet at night. We loved our short stay, it would be great to stay longer!

The room was spotless and beautiful, and it was cleaned every day. Additionally, it was very quiet. The location was excellent—10 minutes on foot from two metro stations and 5 minutes walk from the tram/bus stop. The host was wonderful. Kind and hospitable. Every morning, he prepared breakfast and coffee/tea for us. He was willing to explain in detail how to visit the places we wanted to see. It's definitely worth staying there if you visit Milan. It feels just like home!🏠 💜

Everything was perfect!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this amazing property and I can't say enough good things about it. The place was absolutely spotless, reflecting the hosts' dedication to maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. Speaking of the hosts, they were incredibly kind and warm, making my stay even more enjoyable. The location is unbeatable—perfectly situated in a quiet area yet close to all the attractions I wanted to visit. The property itself is absolutely gorgeous, decorated with impeccable taste and featuring all the amenities one could ask for. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a perfect getaway.

Wonderful location which was 5-10 mins walk to the metro, then a short ride into Milan centre where the Duomo was. Walter was very communicative prior to the stay and had prepared a baby crib when we accidentally indicated we had a baby coming along! During the stay, they were flexible and allowed us to put our luggages in the room before check in time, and were also on time when serving breakfast. We had a lovely conversation with Walter who was very personable and wonderful to speak to.

We didn’t realise that this room was one of three in a small apartment when we booked it, so we had to share the common space with other tenants. But it was not a dealbreaker, and I would still recommend this place for short stays in Milan.

This gem of an apartment is in a residential area of Milan. A highlight of our Milan experience was our friendly, funny, creative and very informative host, Walter. The apartment block is not distinctive from the outside, but inside is a beautiful entrance way and courtyard. Access to the apartment is via an charming old lift. The apartment is beautifully and personally decorated. Our bedroom had a view of the courtyard and was very quiet. The bed is big and bathroom luxurious. The apartment is cleaned every day! Access to the centre of Milan is easiest via the metro. There are 2 metro stations within about 10-15 minutes walk from the apartment. The apartment also has an outdoor terrace which is pleasant to sit on. Parking is nearby. Walter was great at communicating with us before we even arrived.

We had a wonderful stay at Branzino House, and Walter was an exceptional host! He was incredibly welcoming and friendly, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. Walter shared fantastic advice on where to go and eat, which truly enhanced our experience. What really stood out was the thoughtful touch of having a crib ready for our baby, even though we didn’t ask for it—it was such a kind gesture that made our stay even more comfortable. Highly recommend!

Owners really nice and very friendly They even have a list with suggestions for restaurants recommendations and i appreciated it! The room and bathroom clean and nice furnitured, and the whole apartment is renovated and with modern furniture. It was authentic experience to stay in an old building like this and explore the neighborhood away from the touristic places. A lot of students around due to the university. The owner also is very friendly and open and ut was nice to talk to, since i was travelling alone.

Fyi, The Apartment has two rooms and if you book one,it can be that you will not be alone. But each has its own bathroom. I didnt notice before booking but it didn't bother me because the other woman that booked was nice. Also the location is not the most convenient for the center. Breakfast was standard, fresh croissant/bread/marmalade/musli. I was ok with the above, just pointing out, in case it concerns other people.

The doors from the city street opened to a clean and pretty entryway, then through another door a beautiful courtyard garden. We too a lift that was over a hundred years old up to our room which was nicely decorated and modern. We were welcomed by Walter, very nice man who says he is Italian but spoke such good English, we wouldn’t have ever known. The room was comfortable and clean, breakfast was good and just enough.

Mr. Walter was very polite and professional. He ensured a warm welcome for both our son and us, making our stay enjoyable. We enjoyed our discussions a lot. The room was very nice and clean, and the bathroom was equipped with all necessities. Although the building itself is quite old, the entire flat has undergone a recent full renovation. The serving of breakfast was excellent, with elegant utensils. While the immediate vicinity lacks notable attractions, the location resides in a quiet and safe neighborhood.

Something that we didn't know and it would be nice to know is that the room is part of a shared flat. The flat has two distinct rooms, each equipped with its own bathroom. The corridor and kitchen areas are communal and shared among the residents. The breakfast is prepared by the owners (the time you agreed the night before) in the kitchen. Based on the price we paid, we had higher expectations for the breakfast. Even though the breakfast is continental, adding some eggs and replacing the toast with fresh bread would make a considerable difference. Finally, accessing the room via public transportation isn't very convenient, particularly when carrying a lot of pieces of baggage and a stroller.
