Loved the decor and open feeling to the rooms. Breakfast was good. Staff was very attentive. Bathrooms were clean.

Would have liked an earlier breakfast time (7:30am vs 8:00am). We had tours that started early and it would have been nice to get a coffee before we headed out. It was a bit of a hike to get up to the hotel each day (many flights of stairs).

It's in fantastic location within walking distance of major attractions. Bedroom was spacious and clean with a king sized bed and a sofa. There was also ample space in adjoining room for lugggce/wardrobe to store and hang clothes. Bathroom was finished in modern decor was clean and had more than enough space for 2 people. Continental buffet breakfast was an added bonus. as good as accommodation was what made our stay special was the host, Flavio. He went above and beyond expected service. He was friendly and polite. Always ready with advice about local attractions (other than the usual crowded spots) and history. He even arranged a dinner booking at short notice at a very in demand family restaurant serving authentic dishes. On our departure, he booked a taxi, helped with our luggage and waited outside with us. When the taxi was late he phoned the taxi company to follow up. He made sure we were on our way before going inside. I recommend Canto degli Aranci to anyone travelling to Florence and would stay there again without hesitation.

This was our 4th stop in our Italy trip and the biggest surprise. When I booked it, I thought it was “just a B&B”. This isn’t just a B&B by any means. :) The location is just perfect. 2 min walk to Palazzo Santa Croce, restaurants, and right in the middle of the main area. So everything we needed to see/visit was within walking distance. The owner, Flavio, was amazing. Helpful, polite, friendly, attentive, and was really nice. He was very easy to communicate with via WhatsApp. He helped us get a taxi for a 7 AM tour we had. The staff (in the breakfast area and the cleaning crew) were also nice and friendly. The entire floor is immaculate. Bright, newly renovated, clean and beautiful. We stayed in room 6, the junior suite. So spacious, clean, very comfortable beds, including the couch bed for my 13 year old. Breakfast was just right. Not the biggest variety, but they are a small B&B with 5 rooms and so just enough food to get you started and out the door each morning. We enjoyed it. There is an elevator from the first floor, but you have to walk up the stairs from the ground floor to the next. We didn’t mind it, but that’s just a heads up. We loved this property and will definitely return. Nothing but good things to say about them.

The hotel is perfectly located in the city center, making it incredibly convenient to explore the best attractions on foot. The hotel itself is spotless, with attention to detail in every corner. Our room was spacious, well-appointed, and had a charming view of the street below, adding a special touch to our stay. The breakfast was another highlight — a superb selection of delicious options that set the tone for a great day of sightseeing. The hotel is lovely in about a block from Santacroce and less than five minutes from the Romo, so an ideal location. The rooms are renovated, spacious and very comfortable, and we had a lovely breakfast for each of the mornings we were there. Flavio was very communicative before during and even after our stay, and provided great advice and service throughout. It was a pleasure to get to meet him, and undoubtedly we will stay here again when we are next in Florence. We would highly recommend

Brother owners are excellent hosts! Great location, very clean, lovely breakfast, soundproofed quiet rooms. Spacious rooms and good value! This was a great property and the nicest staff.

Breakfast hours could be earlier for days when you have tours. Didn’t understand that you need to be specific about arrival because building can’t be accessed without the owner meeting you outside the first time. Lots of steps to entry (elevator beyond first level). The rooms are part of a wing in a commercial building which is not an issue but explains the access and elevator aspects. Also, staff not on hand 24/7 but owners are available by text with rapid responses for any questions.

I recently had the pleasure of staying in Canto degli Aranci and it was truly a remarkable experience. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm hospitality that made me feel right at home. The room I had was rather dark because of the window, which was inside the building so not much sun could get into the room. Because of that „inside window” you can hear really everything in other apartments in the building (even the phone ringing and all conversation). In one of the apt lives - I am sure - very friendly dog., who likes to bark, one morning started before 7am… great alarm clock ;)

Last April my husband and I traveled across Italy our first stop was at Canto degli Aranci in Florence , We absolutely loved it! It's a beautiful place . Very clean , very well kept and decorated with Gusto. The bed was extremely comfortable and the bedding of high quality.The staff were very kind, attentive and professional. The location was perfect, we could walk everywhere, close to all major attractions . We would definitely stay here again.

I traveled to Florence with family at the beginning of July. The host was very helpful with changing our dates due to our flight cancelation. Im grateful for that. He communicated with us prior to reaching the property and met with us to show us the room. The location of property is great, very close to center. Just a short walk from main center and restaurants. The room was great, clean and brand new. It had just been renovated. The breakfast was great, good selection and the lady was very helpful with our food choices. Overall I had a great experience and I strongly recommend Canto degli Aranci.
