The location was super convenient. The pool area and views were a highlight. Our room was very spacious, clean and nice bathroom. Staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was great value. We really enjoyed our stay.

Unfortunately, air conditioning was an extra cost which we decided not to pay after finding out. We were able to cool the room down well with the windows open however unfortunately the guests below us smoked cigarettes on their balcony so each morning we were woken to strong smell of cigarettes which my fiancé and I both detest.

This is my second stay at this property having stayed in Sept 2023, and I didn't hesitate to rebook when I saw it was available for my travel dates. The hotel is an excellent location close to the bus station, local supermarkets and a very short walk to the lake with many bars and restaurants. It has a beautiful rooftop pool with amazing views. The rooms and clean and spacious and the staff are wonderful - very friendly and helpful. I have recommended this hotel to my parents (who require amenities to be close due to mobility issues) whom also had a wonderful stay May 2024.

Location was fine, near the lakeshore, parking space behind the hotel, warm welcoming, very nice apartment with two rooms and the kitchen corner, spacious bathroom, everything was clean. Balcony to the main road with table and chairs. Breakfast was excellent with eggs, bacon, yoghurt and cereals, fresh fruit and vegetables, croissants and so on. Bar in the lobby. Pool in the rooftop with the view. We stayed during the easter time and our son received chocolate eggs as welcoming and on the Easter breakfast too, this was very kind. The hotel staff tell us about two near good restaurants, we tried them and were very satisfied with both of them. We are definitely going back to this hotel next time.

The staff at RTA Doria were super friendly and very helpful. The breakfast had a good range of continental options with nice cakes! The room was very spacious, having a proper fridge was huge bonus for us. The highlight was the pool on the roof! Perfect for a quick dip after a day out.

The rooms were a bit dated, but they are as shown in the photographs and the place is very good value for money. The biggest problem for us was that the beds were a bit squeaky, but we were still able to sleep.

We (parents with 10 yo child) stayed in RTA Doria for the long Easter weekend. The location is perfect, walking distance to the picturesque town centre with many shops and restaurants (all open even on Easter Sunday) and to the lake. The apartment was super spacious, clean and cosy, the bathroom and kitchenette had everything we needed. A huge plus for me: the heating was on in the room when we arrived, thank you for that! The breakfast buffet was also nice with plenty of choice. The bar in the hotel is open until midnight with a very relaxed atmosphere. Off-street parking is available directly in the back yard of the hotel. The owners and the staff were always polite and made us feel welcome. All in all we felt very comfortable during our stay and we would be happy to come back.

As other reviewers have already pointed out, the mattresses are unusually hard. It is only a minor thing though, with everything else being so nice.

This hotel is in an excellent location for the main town plus supermarkets and bus stop just a short walk away. The hotel has a rooftop pool which has amazing views of the lake and is a lovely place to relax. The apartments are traditionally decorated, but they are spacious, comfortable, well equipped, and very clean. As we ate out, we didn't make full use of the kitchen facilities, but we did appreciate that it came with a full-size fridge. Breakfast was included, and there was a good selection of food and drinks. Whilst i have no dietary needs myself, i could see that dietary requirements (options for vegetarian, non diary, lactose free, gluten free etc) are all well catered for. During service, the food is regularly replenished, and so there is always a good selection. Everything I ate was delicious. What really made our stay at this hotel was the staff, who were all fantastic. They were welcoming and really helpful - you got that personal touch that you dont get at the larger hotel chains. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel and would definitely return here when returning to Lake Garda

Not a dislike - but a tip for UK travellers. Our plug adapters would only fit in the circular plug sockets in our apartment - one in the kitchen area and one in the bathroom. This was not an issue for us as I always pack extension lead with 4 sockets and USB points, but i would recommend taking one if you will need to use/charge more than 2 electronic devices at once.

I liked the view from the terrace, and the cleanliness of the apartment. Also, the pool looked great! And it is not too far from the promenade.

There was noise coming from the main street at night, so we had to close the windows. Also, the equipment could use some renovation and the breakfast choices could be wider.

Very good location and not far at all from the lake and facilities. Amazing rooftop pool!

There was a charge of €10 per day for air conditioning which we weren't aware of beforehand.

Money value

Air condition could be cheaper. Better AC or ventilation in restaurant. Especially in August.
