Staff went above and beyond to help from recommendations of what to do and where to eat, as well as booking tables at restaurants for us. Room was spacious and had everything you would need. It was always clean and tidy. It was a short walk (15 minutes or so) into the main centre of Bologna so quiet but easy to access shops and restaurants.

It was a little noisy from 7am when breakfast was being set up and then from guests getting their breakfast from other rooms. Breakfast wasn’t replenished so if you were the last room, sometimes there were more limited options. Plates were left on other tables rather than being cleared away.

The room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was more than adequate and staff were very kind and friendly. The location is near the central train station, but on a very quiet street. It was easy to follow the host's instructions to enter, as we arrived after 8:00 PM. Good restaurants are within an easy walk. I would stay here again, although I found the price to be a little high.

The only negative point was that quite a bit of noise from inside the building came in under and through the door to the room in the morning. Not a single sound was heard from outside, since the room faced a quiet internal courtyard, but there were loud voices easily heard from inside. Doors do not appear to be well sealed.

We liked the way that Ornella was so flexible and helpful. Communication via Whatsapp was very easy and she was happy to let us arrive an hour earlier than we had originally agreed. She also provided us with an early breakfast as we had an early flight to catch. The accommodation, Nettuno, is of a very high standard and spacious. The bathroom also is splendid. The location is an excellent compromise between being in the centre and near to the station. It was only a 10 minute walk from the centre, which for a couple in their 60s-70s and carrying backpacks, was absolutely doable.

Unfortunately we did not sleep well because we could hear the traffic in the street outside. It probably didn't help our knowing that we had an early flight to get up in time for.

We visited galliera residence in early October. Its near to the train station of bologna and also (about a 10 minute walk or less) to the city center. Our stay was fantastic! Olga and nina were the most amazing, kind and helpful hostesses we could have asked for. Our room was very clean and big enough to make a family of three feel very comfortable. Of course the room was cleaned every day. The breakfast was a little small but it had anything someone could ask and it was all delicious. Me and my family would definitely recommend galliera residence for anyone visiting Bologna. Thank you Olga and Nina for a wonderful stay!

Great location near the main train station, so easily walkable (less than 10 minutes even with bags). Lovely staff with excellent English and so welcoming. Compact but clean room with excellent air conditioning, Smart TV, coffee making facilities, large floor length mirror (always underestimated by hotels), storage space. Comfortable bed. Large walk in shower and well designed bathroom. Daily service. Buffet breakfast available of a very high and varied standard. Lovely terrace area on the first floor. Excellent room security and access systems.

The breakfast spread is ample. The location is superb as it's very near the train station and not too far from the old city. Staff is very helpful and friendly. (She helps with the translation.) The room is very clean and looks new and well supplied. Sparkling cold water & hot water dispenser is provided in the small common area. Appliances look new. There are only 4 rooms on the floor we are at. They allow us to check out at noon, later than standard time.

It's near the street but luckily not a busy street. You can hear the traffic quite clearly if the windows are open. The neighbourhood looks a bit deserted at night.

The breakfast was outstanding with cereal, fruit, yoghurt eggs, croissants, and pastries, juices etc. The location is close to the train station and the main shopping strip. The facilities are spacious, clean and modern, tastefully decorated with keyless pin entry. The bed is comfortable, the shower excellent. The staff were helpful and allowed us late check out. I'd recommend staying here.

We were a little concerned arriving after hours after 7pm and not knowing how to enter as there was no hotel lobby. However, the friendly staff arrived a few minutes later and helped us settle in.

The room was well-appointed and cleaned every day. Breakfast was plentiful and had something for every appetite. The fridge with still and sparkling water was handy. The location was excellent, halfway between the train station and Piazza Maggiore

You have almost no interaction with B&B staff after check in. I happened to run into the manager outside to ask about having breakfast available a few minutes earlier on day of departure. Thank you for arranging that. There was no one to contact when guests were having a party until 3 am on the courtyard deck. I would recommend turning the lights off and locking the door at 22:00.

receptionist was so helpful with absolutely everything, booking me into restaurants and giving advice etc. Fabulous air cone (it was 36 degrees heat outside !), extremely comfortable bed and power shower. Impeccably clean and very quiet at night. Good availability of coffee etc if you wanted it. Great location. 6 minutes walking to station and 10 mins walking to the main square and old are a with all the foodie restaurants.

I left too early to sample the breakfast. Only reason I didn't give it a 10 was because despite being lovely it was still expensive compared to other places which seemed a similar quality.

If a friend was hosting us, she would have provided us with such a warm and cozy atmosphere. Ornella is someone who takes care of her guests not just for the sake of it but because she really cares. She made us feel comfortable as if we were in our own home, she also gave us restaurant recommendations. Ina was also very friendly and helpful. We have stayed in many places but we have never seen such friendly and helpful people. We felt very happy to know you. The location of our hotel was very good. Our rooms were spotless. The terrace was wonderful. Breakfast was also very varied. Our heart stayed at Galleria Residences ☺️ I'm glad we chose you. We will be here again on our next trip to Bologna!
