Great location, the room on the ground floor was really nice and of course if you decide to stay in such a location, expect that it is an old building with a great atmosphere, in my opinion it was clean and nice interior (many complained about the ground floor but there is another building, which is probably under renovation). So if you want to feel the magic of the old city and go back in time a little, I highly recommend it, and it's safe. The bus stop is a 2-minute walk from the building or a walk to the main train station is a pleasant 15-20 minutes.

Very nice location, clean right in the old town of Bari, surrounded by the traditional little streets paved with old stone. The accommodation was really beautiful as per the pictures. The host was very nice and helpful. The room is beautifully furnished in a romantic Italian style, the bed is extremely comfortable especially after a day of intense sightseeing. The location is very close to all the restaurants in the old centre, I recommend Burgo Antico R45, 20 min walk from the train station as well as 28 min from Pane & Pomodoro beach. It communicates extremely easy with the hosts via whatsup and they are open to help you with information. It was an excellent stay and we will probably return.

It was a good room, had all we needed and had fabulous character. Great spot on the edge of the old town and close to the ring road for paid parking.

Our room was not part of the featured Mare accommodation but about 50m away and the room was not fearured on their site . (We did have an issue with the function of the front and only door and were locked in for a while. Luckily this was fixed very quickly from the outside but as the back window had bars on it if there had been for example a fire, we had no second exit. Maybe something to consider.)

The property is close to everything, right in the heart of the old center, 20 minutes from the beach/20 minutes from Bari Central (both by foot). The conditions are good, someone is cleaning the room every day. Also I slept very good in their bed. The thing I liked the most is the fact that Laura was very prompt in answering to all our questions, very kind and thoughtful. Thank you for everything and we cannot to come back!! ☺️

Good location of the room in the old town and near the public car park too and only 5 mins walk from basilica of st Nicolas Comfortable bed and specious bathroom. Nice little balcony .

Not much space for luggage and your personal belongings and only one chair. However we were there only one night so it was fine.

old Bari center is quite specific place so you should be prepared to be very close to other buildings and flats, however the design is good and you can clearly get the feeling of old days Italian city

they have no elevators so if you heavy luggage be prepared to lift some weights on the narrow stairs. tv was not connected to anything as well as fridge was kind of decoration and was not producing any cold.

Laura is the best, so helpful!!!! She`s really fantastic. You can ask her whatever you want and she will solve your problem. Every day we were asked if we needed anything. She also helped us with the car rental. Thank you Laura! :*

Our staying at Mare was excellent. The hosts were incredibly nice and very responsive. The house is located in the heart of the old town, close to all main attractions. It was my second time staying at Mare and everything was exceptional. :) ♥️

The communication with Laura was excellent. Location is in the old town, air conditioning was powerful, room smelled good, bed was comfortable.

We had the simple room on the ground floor, we heard everyone who came in and out at night. The air conditioning was working great but wasn't silent
