I loved my stay at Akalanka, I extended more times than I can count. it was amazingly located close enough to the main port area but far enough from the bars and beach front that it was peaceful. the rooms are lovely and bright with delightful staff. it’s also on a great cycle route to sunset side of the island. bonus point for the super friendly cat that would always meet me after a dive

everything was great. there was a couple of times I heard the mosque early in the morning, but I stayed for a few weeks and am a very light sleeper so this was great that it was not often.

I have stayed in Akalanka almost a month coming and going from Lombok. There is a good reason for that: I felt like I was at home. And that is because of Agus. Even for a country full of nice, kind and amazing people, Agus exceeded all expectations. True professional always ready to help and caring for his guests. And the place is simply FANTASTIC. Enough away from the noises to have a good nice sleep, but close enough to walk to restaurants or the beach. Nice breakfast with all you need to start the day and a VERY COMFORTABLE and super clean room that includes good aircon, a TV, fridge (very rare to have one in the island) and furniture. I want to express my gratitude again to Agus who was flexible, kind and super helpful all the time. And one more time, I was in this beautiful Homestay for almost a month! You can imagine how good I felt. THANK YOU and hope to see you again!

Very good value. Has everything you need and comfortable for great price. We Could not really hear the mosque. Owner friendly and helped us get bikes. Would recommend over a more expensive place we stayed.

Some cobwebs and a bit smelly in the bathroom/ the drains.

Very friendly staff, comfy bed, spacious room, nice terrace, peaceful surrounding, close by warungs and shops. Affordable. Possibility to rent a bicycle directly at the accommodation. I extended my stay for an extra night.

Bathroom and its walls weren't as clean as it could be.

Great short stay for 3 nights. We didn’t want to be near the main town as wanted it to be quiet at night so this was perfect for us. Great for the price and the guy that ran the property was friendly !

Cold water in the shower but we were fine with this as it was so hot anyway.

the location was good! we rent a bike at the accommodation, the owner were very friendly and helpful! The bed was comfortable!

we had a lot of ants in our bathroom.. especially on the wall.. it was creepy. but the owner help us with ant spray

Simple but nice property. Man working at front desk was extremely nice and very helpful, he would welcome us back each time we arrived. He also helped us rent bikes and booked us snorkelling too. Overall great experience

Shower didn’t really get warm, but considering the heat on the island we personally didn’t really mind

Good location, nice breakfast, kind staffs, clean room and nice balcony.

Hot water didn’t work at all during shower. Only cold water. But the weather was hot anyways so it was not a big matter!

The bungalow was cozy, the stuff was great and helpful (also will find you a good bike in minutes). Good location positioned in the middle of the island so easy to cycle around.

Bed was very comfortable and the staff were great and nice to us!

The bathroom had a bit of a smell in it but it wasn’t the worst and it could do with a little better lighting. All in all a nice place to stay still.
