I loved the location of the Inn. It had a Very clean, nice shared spacious kitchen. Large shared bathroom. It looks a bit sketchy checking in around the back but do not let that put you off because it is very clean inside.
I was always worried on returning that there may not be an available car parking space as there is no actual car park. I didn't see one member of staff on site. I had no issues at all but if I did have, I didn't see anyone to ask about it. The room was super hot too, not sure if the radiator couldn't turn off properly.

Location, location, location! Just across the street from the bus station and several fast food restaurants. All the bus tours and the Flybus leave from BSI. It's also a short walk downtown through a lovely park by a lake. This is a very basic room. We did have a bathroom, but most rooms just have a sink. When our housemates were respectful (see below), it was such a quiet, relaxing experience! The shared kitchen was very convenient. We made breakfast every morning. Also, it is a good price for Iceland!
We generally avoid self check-in due to former bad experiences. That being said, the process went smoothly at this guest house. Information was detailed and sent on time. We stayed a week, and the first night and the last night, fellow housemates were very loud, slamming doors, and talking. There was no staff to help with the problem.

I recently stayed here, and it was an excellent experience from start to finish! The location is ideal—just a short walk from the main bus station, making airport transfers and tours incredibly convenient. At the same time, the city center is only a 10-minute stroll away, so exploring the shops, restaurants, and attractions was effortless. The hotel itself is modern, clean, and cozy. My room was spacious, well-equipped, and had a comfortable bed, ensuring a great night’s sleep after a day of sightseeing. The staff were incredibly friendly and always happy to offer recommendations or assist with any requests.

For us this was a great location by the bus station and only a short walk into the centre of Reykjavik. We received clear instructions on how to access the property, which was not a problem. The room was very clean and whilst basic had everything my friend and I needed for our short stay and our requirement to have somewhere clean and comfortable to sleep. I'd be very happy to use Travel Inn again.
Travel Inn was fine for our stay. It looks a bit tired on the outside but it was clean and comfortable. I'd be happy to stay here again.

Location was superb as it's across from the BSI terminal where the flybus and most reykjavik excursion tours arrive/leave - also very close to the center of the city(very easy to rent a scooter yo ride around on or get a bus from this location) Kitchen was clean and well stocked with basic supplies for tea/coffee and small breakfast. Self check-in at any time via self check-in was easy and very useful when arriving off the flight. Coming from England the water pressure in the shower was very nice.
As other rooms shared a bathroom, I was disturbed a few times during the night by their doors being closed loudly. Kitchen area can be hard to navigate(even for the small stuff I.e. tea, coffee, getting to the sink) if someone is already in there which can slow you down in the morning. It would benefit from somewhere to clean your clothes(I didn't look too hard so this might actually be available) - as there is no daily room cleaning service offered in the guest house you will need to find somewhere to wash your clothes on longer stays.

Great location. 3 minutes walk from BSÍ where Flybus and Excursions start and end. About 5 minutes to Hallgrimskirkja and 10 minutes to downtown Reykjavik. We used this guest house at the beginning and end of our latest tour to Iceland . A great feature is that the host will accept single night bookings. A really useful and much needed facility! We used this guest house in February/March this year too, when some renovation/development was happening , and we have to say it is now a really good place to stay. Rooms are clean and a good size with private toilet and shower. Beds were comfortable, and the showers were great. As with a lot of modern guesthouses, we never met the hosts, but they were quick to respond and sort out an access problem that occurred when we received only part of a message from Booking.Com.
As with all guesthouses, the duvets are way to thick. Great in the depths of winter, I'm sure.

As I wrote in an other review, this was the second time in this place. First one was on the basements room, number 3, and the experience was not good. The room was not good however this time the room was up stairs and was clean and walls painted in a nice and elegant colour, the bathroom was clean and well decorated as all the room and don't smell humidity like the other. For all this I asked my self why I has been charged same price for such different rooms?. The location of the place is the best, and that you can do self check in any time in the night like us. 5 minutes to the centre and 5 minutes to the bus station. They give you coffee and cookies on the kitchen that's perfect¡¡¡
This room was perfect.

The property is in good condition, they’ve renovated the rooms, kitchen, bedrooms and bathrooms. Super close to the centre around a 20 minute walk, some hills but nothing too crazy. Parking right infront of the property super convenient and a petrol station right opposite. Kitchen offered free tea and coffee, contained kitchen ware for those wanting to cook. Bathroom was clean and tidy, had body wash and shampoo offered. Would recommend bringing shower slippers but that’s if you’re a bit pickier. The rooms had atleast a sink so don’t need to wait in line to brush teeth, and the duvet is super warm so no concerns with freezing at night. Loved everything about the guesthouse.
Nothing I didn’t like.

The location was the greatest advantage, but I also loved the rustic vibes. Simple room but very tidy, with a renovated private bathroom and cozy bed. They offered no breakfast options but free coffee and tea were available at any time, which I very much appreciated. The shared kitchen also has cooking facilities, a dishwasher, dishes and cutlery, all very practical and super clean. Extremely high value-price ratio.
There was a fan that made noise at random moments, maybe that can be fixed. I was too tired to be disturbed by it, but maybe others would mind.

We had a family room with two double beds and a kitchenette. The outside of the property looks a bit run down but inside our room was clean and comfortable. The black out curtains did an excellent job of blocking out the light outside. There is adequate parking on the street outside. The location of the property was just a short walk away from the main church and shopping area. Our kitchenette was very well equipped and the induction hob was excellent.
A kettle would have been nice so I could easily make a cup of tea. I boiled some water in a saucepan. Some extra shelving and/or hooks in the bathroom would be a bonus.
