Best Holiday Hotel in Mykonos, Greece. 10/10 as it stands its best quality values for taking care of their guests like us, professional staff, and superb cleanliness. Comfort and quality of service is excellent. Axel Hotel offers excellent service and exceeded beyond expectations . IVAN - in the reception is superb with his work, super nice, and really friendly. He took good care of us from check-in until we said goodbye. THEO in the bar is super friendly and provides us with excellent customer service. He is a gem. Definitely will come back to Axel whenever we get back to Mykonos.

The hotel’s vibe is relaxed yet stylish, and it’s located in a great spot—perfect for exploring the island. The rooms were comfortable and clean, offering a perfect blend of modern comfort with a cozy, inviting atmosphere. The team went above and beyond to accommodate all of our needs. We were really impressed by the level of hospitality we received, and it’s one of the main reasons we’ll definitely be coming back. We just got back from Axel and I’m already thinking how to save up to go back. Saying “I miss the staff” doesn’t even come close — I’ve never felt so accepted and genuinely cared for. Special shout-out to Ivan at the front desk — he’s not just doing his job, he’s a real-life legend. Need dinner recommendations? He’s got a list of his favorite spots. Transfer, massage, delivery? Handled. Feeling a bit down? He’ll cheer you up and give you a hug. I truly believe everyone needs an Ivan in their life. 😄 The room was spotless, the bed — super comfy, and breakfasts were tasty. We also got a welcome gift on arrival and another surprise when we left — such a nice touch.

The only downsides I could find: our private pool was cold at first (fixed on day two), and the food at the hotel is okay — good, but nothing special.

A wonderful stay! This place isn't a hotel, it's a HOME. The location is great—clean, new, and in an ideal location, just a 15-minute walk from Little Venice. But it's not the place, but the people who made me miss it, and it was hard to pack up and move on to another island. A special thank you to IVAN, who is not just a person, but a true heart! He helped with so many things, and organized a surprise for my fiancé's birthday, all at the hotel's expense! He prepared a beautiful room with balloons, flowers, champagne, and a small cake! It was something special and so unconditional! I heartily recommend it in every way; I personally miss it! I hope to see you again.

We can’t say enough! We received an upgrade during check-in. WOW! Our room was spectacular ❤️ The entire staff was pleasant and available for us throughout our stay. Their joy and happiness made the environment welcoming to all. The breakfast was fantastic, with plenty of choices for everyone. Back to our room, huge and beautifully decorated, we had a plunge pool that overlooked the mountains and was the perfect place to come back and rest after a busy day of seeing the city. Ivan was welcoming from beginning to end, he gave us a great gift as we checked out. We’d definitely return and happily recommend to our family and friends. It’s definitely an experience you won’t forget!

My partner and I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Akkadian Boutique Hotel for our honeymoon, and our experience was nothing short of exceptional. Warm Welcome and Exceptional Service : From the moment we arrived, Costas at the reception welcomed us warmly. The hotel even upgraded us to an executive room at no extra cost to celebrate our special occasion, which was a delightful surprise. The room was stunning and exactly what we needed, meeting all our expectations perfectly. Outstanding Staff : Every member of the staff made our stay memorable: - Morning : Xaris and Mike ensured our mornings started perfectly, with Xaris even bringing us custom-made omelets directly from the kitchen. Antonis at reception was always ready to assist with a smile. - Noon : Aris, Chris, Mark, and Marios provided excellent service at the bar, pool, and reception, making sure we had everything we needed. - Night : Costas handled the night shift at reception seamlessly, and Costantinos, the DJ, created a lively and fun atmosphere by the pool every evening. Amazing Amenities and Atmosphere : The hotel's atmosphere feels like a family, and it's clear that other guests feel this way too. We made several connections with other guests, adding to the homely and friendly environment. The staff consistently asked if everything was fine and if we needed any help or recommendations, which made us feel very well taken care of. Special Touches : The cleaning team did a fantastic job daily, keeping our room and private pool immaculate. The highlight of our evenings was the DJ by the pool, who created a fantastic vibe. On Wednesdays, there's an amazing local singer, adding a unique and unforgettable touch to our experience. Perfect Location : The location of the hotel is perfect, within walking distance to the city and just a few minutes' drive from anywhere we wanted to go.

This was my second visit to this wonderful hotel and again it did not disappoint but surprised me even more. I felt like I was visiting friends in a very beautiful villa where everyone takes care of each other and always welcomes with a smile. The best service I have ever seen in other hotels in Mykonos. The cleanliness and comfort of the hotel is top notch. Very nice pool with good music, delicious food and great vibe. I will always come back here. I would like to thank all the hotel staff for an unforgettable vacation.

We liked very positive receptionists they welcomed us in an unexpected way and they made our stay above our expectations. Especially Ivan he was very friendly and upgraded our room and made our stay way better than we expected. Very big thank you Ivan.

We didn’t like the breakfast service. Eggs that we ordered were burned. Even though the taste was better than it looked I wasn’t really pleased with the taste. Also the service, we had to ask for drinks multiple times and keep waving at the waiter for 5 minutes to notice us and bring us some drinks.

The hotel was beautifully appointed and the decor created a very relaxing and chilled atmosphere. The staff were really friendly and went out of their way to make you feel welcomed. The breakfast was lovely and it was a great way to start the day overlooking the pool while enjoying coffee and cake! The rooms were great and the beds comfortable. The mini bar was very generously stocked and reasonably priced. The range of food and drinks on offer was just right with classic dishes done well and a lovely list of cocktails and other drinks to ensure you could have a wonderful time relaxing around the pool. The gym was great too with enough equipment to do a full workout. Adonis, one of the managers, could do enough to make us feel welcome and included. We will definitely be returning and recommending to all our friends.
