I rented a quad bike and that gave me a chest infection and i had tighness in the chest. i also have mild asthma. However, the Island Kalaymos has a massive area where they burn garbage, including plastics which release toxic fumes. https://www.vice.com/en/article/pavezm/theres-an-illegal-trash-volcano-burning-in-greece I ended up in hospital with sever breathing difficulties. In the end, I was so desperate I took a flight back to the UK. I don't think everyone will be affected as badly as me, but I think the authorities need to look at that massive fire pit constantly burning and releasing toxins in the air. Greece has also been fined many times for breach of air quality due to burning of rubbish

Check out was about 11 am. We were heading for rock climbing, so they told us that we could leave our stuff (clothes etc.) in the hotel until we get back. We were back around 6pm and they offered us a room in order to take a quick bath. Breakfast was very good for its price with many options (juice milk cereal jam honey eggs breads cheese ham white cheese tomatoes olives etc..)

Beautiful balcony and great location, in the heart of Massouri, 1 minute from the beach. The room was clean and comfortable. Prompt and Efficient Check-In/Check-Out. Service was excellent, staff was friendly and helpful. Bathroom was renewed and better than the pictures. Breakfast was good, but it lacked variety. All in all, I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely come back!

i had everything i could want at a fantastic price. i might suggest an upgrade to the mattresses if i was being fussy.

First: the owner and staff. Kind, polite, and professional. They are helpful and accommodating. The hotel is a little old but it is very charming. The location is great, right on the Masouri beach and a few steps away from mini markets, great cafes and restaurants, the Telendos island’s boat station. The breakfast was fine and is served in an open garden.

The bathrooms can use a little bit of renovation!

The location of the hotel is great - same level as the main street. Beach is only one stairway down! Rooms and balcony are spacious. Rooms are cleaned every day! The breakfast is continental and good.

There is only fridge in the room. I asked a kettle from reception to make a hot water.

Traditional feel in a perfect location by beach, rooms are old fashioned but have their own charm, breakfast on terrace was basic but lovely, whole hotel was exceptionally clean, everything was great for the price paid.

Very dangerous step in room from hallway/bathroom level to main part of room. Receipe for a dangerous fall in middle of night if no lights on . Same step down from room to hallway . Easy to trip. Many steps from street level to lobby and again to second level.

Really enjoyed my stay here. Hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. Continental breakfast was very good. Room was cleaned daily to a high standard. Central location to Massouri area. Free WiFi worked well for mobile usage. Very good value for money and would definitely stay again.

The shower was fine but a bit on the tight side. Walls are quite thin and sound from the hallway could be a bit loud at times.
