We absolutely loved the vibe of the place, it's even more lovely than the photos! It's cozy, intimate and they have the most adorable cats & kittens. The staff were so friendly and helpful, we felt right at home. They gave us some great tips and thanks to them we went on a beautiful one-day trip to Spinalonga, swam in the Mirabello bay & learned a lot more about Crete's history. Our rooms were cleaned daily, breakfast was varied and delicious and the pool area was very cozy. The restaurant at the entrance was OUTSTANDING. Valentina was so patient and kind to us, told us more about the Greek culture (and how come they're so welcoming), explained what kind of ingredients each dish had and made recommendations based on our preferences. Never have I ever had better pasta and I can't wait to return and try them yet again.

The surroundings are wonderful, the property has an amazing landscape with beautiful flowers, a great pool and amazing dinner. We stayed in a family apartment and it was really clean, with towels being changed every day and the room and terrace was swept also daily. The din er buffet was wonderful. Diverse each evening and very tasty. Also, the distance to the beach is really small

The breakfast was ok but the same each day. So after three days, it became really dull. The parking doesn’t exist. You have to park on the street. Usually there are places, but the “not so cool” thing is that the street the hotel is on is a main street and a lot of busses are passing by. Because of that it’s a bit tight. Also the wifi is pretty bad inside the apartment. Outside is ok, but inside, not.

This family-run hotel is an absolute treasure. The staff and management were incredibly warm, friendly, and attentive, making us feel genuinely welcomed and at home. Every request was met with a smile and genuine care. Set in beautifully renovated traditional houses, the property is a tranquil oasis of lush greenery that offers an authentic Cretan experience—a refreshing contrast to the large, impersonal resorts nearby. The buffet exceeded expectations with very good food throughout, but the desserts were the real surprise. While they may not have looked particularly fancy, they tasted absolutely heavenly. If you're seeking genuine hospitality, peaceful surroundings, and a true taste of Crete, this charming hotel delivers on all fronts. Highly recommended!

Made to feel very welcome by the whole team. Travelling with my daughters (17,20) nothing was too much trouble the team helped with booking excursions and advice on things to do, sadly we missed the Greek dancing night as homeward bound. Hotel site was spotlessly clean, pool and bar area really comfortable and staff always around to order drinks. Food was excellent, good mix of veggie and meat options (thank you), breakfast was brilliant, lovely fresh fruit and typical buffet food. Booking was good, team responded to emails quickly and happily arranged transfers for us. Overall great trip, we love staying in family run boutique hotels such as Paul Marie. Thank you PM.

The third bed (sofa) was adequate, however no complaints from daughter after a full day out and pretty tired.

Paul Marie Apartments were very good. The setting is beautiful and just a short stroll to the beach. The food with a modest and varied selection every night was amazing tasty with both local produce and recipes. Drinks and snack prices were average for the area. The staff were wonderfully polite and helpful, with a special shout out to Valentina and Tonya who could not help but make us feel so welcome.

Our accommodation was reasonable, however could do with a refresh. On occasion the pool had debris in and recliner covers were dirty.

Location great for us.. less than a 5 minute walk to the beach for an early morning swim. Lovely staff..very helpful

Balcony very close to neighbours with little privacy or avoiding them when they were smoking/ playing TV on their phones. Couldn't have air conditioning on in bedrooom if the balcony door was ajar When I booked on booking.com there wasn't an option for B&B only, so we had to take half biard. Quite often we were unable to take dinner there.

I wouldn’t say it would be best for a family holiday. Was great for us at the time, as we had a child free holiday for a friends wedding. So we enjoyed the peace ! We would definitely be back if it was just the two of us. Wouldn’t be my children as I would feel sorry for other hotel guests 😅 there is much for children too do. However a baby who isn’t at mobile stage would be fine !

There were so many things we liked during our stay here! Firstly, the staff were extremely friendly, professional and caring. They were happy to share local tips, advice and genuinely wanted our stay to be the best it could be. The location was perfect for us, just a 5 minute walk from the beach so it was off the main road meaning it was not noisy at all. Some lovely places to eat close by and very close to the town centre. The complex was very quiet when we visited, which meant we had almost exclusive use of the pool.

There really isn’t anything not to like about this place, it is great value for money, well located, it feels secure and the staff were fantastic.

Owner managed jewel. Everyone extremely customer centered and customer driven. Food choice limited but excellent. . Apartments are situated in small buildings around the site. Everything covered by flowers and flowering bushes. Breakfast next to pool. Value price ratio is a clear 12 out of 10😊. Thank you 👣

Wifi not good in our room, could not really use it. A bit more utensils (glasses, cutlery,...) in the room would be nice, though that was largely compensated by the hotel staff doing the dishes during their daily cleaning :o
