We had an amazing stay at Arminda Hotel & Spa in Crete. The staff were incredibly kind and attentive, even before our arrival, and made my birthday truly special with a decorated table, balloons, a bottle of wine, and warm wishes from the whole team. The facilities are excellent and very well maintained — from the kids’ club and playground with caring staff, to the beautiful pools (including a seawater pool with a sea view and fun kids’ pools with slides). The rooms were spotless, cleaned daily with fresh towels, and the hotel’s location in Hersonissos was perfect, with parking always available. We also loved the relaxed atmosphere, the variety of food, the snack bar and gelateria, and the daily entertainment that was both fun and high quality. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and we highly recommend this hotel, especially for families.

Everything was great!

We loved the room (628) it was amazing for our family. Cleaning ladies were amazing, the properly was well cleaned and they were very kind and helpful. We had a poorly child during our stay and Yanis at the kitchen was a life saver when we asked for cereals and milk at kitchen closing time. He said nothing but “I have a son too and I understand”. He immediately brought the milk and the cereals and saved us. Other places would just say “cereals at breakfast time” or “kitchen is now shut”. We very much appreciated this and we would like to thank all the staff again for being outstanding, kind and extremely helpful. Elena at the Greek corner bar was a star. She has taken our holiday to the next level. I don’t have enough words to describe her professionalism, she has great hospitality and is a pleasure to meet and spend time with. She is a great asset for Arminda hotel and management should make sure she is happy and well paid as she really is the reason I have rated this hotel outstanding. Kostas at reception was also very kind and even though he has received a complaint about us from the next door room due to being noisy ( we have checked in and took the luggage’s upstairs at 00:30) he understood the situation and checked on us, did not treat us in any way but kind and friendly. It was one of our best holidays so far and we will definitely come back. We travelled in a group of 11 (3 families) and we all felt well looked after and so impressed with the staff.

Please use less oil for the omelets and the fried eggs.

Beautifully presented property. Food is delicious and varied. Local drinks lack flavour and are poor quality compared to other Greek all inclusive hotels. Ideal for young families but we were travelling with teenagers and not set up for this age group at all. Like a ghost town from 1030. Description misleading around beach. There is a beach within 100m but its aligned with a neighbouring hotel so you feel like an imposter on it.

See above also some staff friendly but majority lack any conversation or interaction with guests including animation team and bar staff except for Spirous.

The hotel was spotlessly clean with excellent food and drinks, friendly staff, several good sized pools and right on the beach. The room was a good size with nice views and a regular house keeping service that was discreet but thorough. Nothing seemed too much trouble for the team, we even got some food when we arrived very late and a goodbye token gift of some local soap when we left. It really was an excellent hotel and we had such a relaxing stay.

The all inclusive alcoholic drinks were a bit weak but that is pretty usual for any All Inclusive hotel. Ideally there could have been a little more entertainment planned for adults in the evening. A simple movie night, quiz etc. would have been a nice touch.

The hotel staff are welcoming, smiling and very helpful. There was a problem with the comfort of the parents' bed, the staff solved the problem quickly and efficiently. The hotel is very clean, spacious and within walking distance of the beach where there are water sports. The kids really enjoyed the water park, even though it was cold. In addition, the entertainment program and shows were invested and enjoyable.

We liked less that every day, in a certain bar, there is only 1 cocktail that is included in the all-inclusive package - the "daily cocktail", leaving no possibility for variety. There was nothing to watch on TV, no Netflix.

- The facility was very modern, clean, and well-maintained. - The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, and we really appreciated the complimentary room upgrade we received upon arrival. - Although the hotel is not located directly on the beach, there is convenient beach access provided through a third-party company.

There was really nothing I didn’t like about the stay, but I do wish there was a town within walking distance for a bit more variety and convenience.

The room was clean and spacious for our family of 5. The pools are nice. We were worried about sea water, but its not that bad. The food was pretty good too. Best food is breakfast and dinner. Lunch is so so.. The staff is friendly and its overall quiet

Snacks and drinks were pretty lame. Pizza always cold and other "snaks" just don't worth the calories. There is coffee machine for free, but when i asked for ice-coffe they say i need to pay for it, so i had to make it myself with the low quality machine cofee and some ice from the bar... Overall its a nice place but the bar and snacks can be improved... the entertainment was very basic

great animation staff and miniclub (thank you julia, alex and team!!) the gym was great and wellequipped (also kettlebells and barbells, functional stuff). opposite was a little supermarket,bus stop around the corner. friendly and helpful staff.

icecream was poor quality, also the drinkingwater was with a disgusting taste (we bought it in the suoermarket instead). BUT the rest of food was tasty and delicous!!

Our room was specious with a nice fresh décor and a beautiful view. Food was amazing, plenty to choose from and Greek options available too. We also used spa and it was fantastic. Stuff was extremely polite and helpful. Overall very please with our stay!

The only thing we didn't like was the pillows. They were thick and hard.. but this might be a personal preference. However, since there were 4 of them it might be good to have 2 thick and 2 thin pillows for people to choose from (just a suggestion).
