The staff was excellent and helped us with arranging some travel options. The location was good - within walking distance to several good restaurants and good shopping areas. Of course, just about anything in the central location of the city is relatively close to them.

The room was much smaller than expected. We stayed in several different places while on vacation in the Greek isles. This was by far the smallest accommodations. On our arrival night, there was also a foul smell when first entering our room. It didn't seem to last too long, but still ... not a great start.

Our stay for 3 nights was the perfect start to our holiday in Crete. The hotel is still new (opened 2 years ago) and the room we stayed in was spacious, clean and tastefully decorated. We had a large terrace with a nice view of the city and the sea. The people at reception and breakfast were friendly and went out of their way to make our stay pleasant. They created the welcoming atmosphere of a family hotel. The breakfast was really (really!) great: lots of choice, with a good variety of savoury and sweet, and many local products (including some delicious pastries). The courtyard where it is served is pleasant, and I could easily imagine spending half a day here with a good book to read. Finally, the location was also ideal: in easy walking distance to everything we wanted to visit (including the archaeological museum), yet very quiet.

Top level hotel in the city center of Heraklion. Close to some great restaurants and the buzzing city center. The interieur and rooms are fresh and modern. Great architecture and interieur design/furniture overall. Breakfast is fantastic with lots of choice and fresh products. You can enjoy this indoor or outdoor on the lovely courtyard. Pictures on booking for the rooms are 100% correct. We had a room with a great view on the church with a spacious balcony. Great bed (firm), shower, etc. Best of all was the staff. Katarina and the other team members were very helpful and hospitable! Great cocktails by the way.

Nothing but if we can imagine that some people will miss a swimming pool. There is Jacuzzi in and outdoors.

This hotel has marble floors and stairs. We got upgraded to a bigger room which was a plus. The breakfast was great!

The hotel is expensive and features a steam room that has and additional cost. One of the reasons to book a luxury hotel, as it states in the name, is to have all these features without having to pay. Also we visited Crete on the first week of November and the advertised room service was not available.

Extraordinary! This hotel exceeded my expectations. All the staff are super helpful, attentive, and professional. The treatment is more than a 4 stars hotel. The installations are nicely decorated, beautiful patio, the room are very comfortable and the breakfast is very good. An especial mention about Sofia, who received us from the 1er day and was super nice.

WOW! Where did I even start? I found this hotel at the very last minute and what a VERY pleasant surprise it was - I found a gem!!! First of all, not only the location of this hotel is fantastic but the lighting in the room is great, it has a very comfortable bed, great shower, the place brand new, very clean, very bright, perfectly working air conditioner when needed, great toiletries and other items (blow dryer, slippers, robe, etc.), well-kept and the hotel staff service is just incredible! The staff is incredibly warm, friendly, hospitable, top notch with attention to details, extremely prompt in service and always ensured that my stay was very comfortable as though I was at home! I was even greeted with a refreshing, delicious welcome drink without me even asking! The breakfast is high quality of local ingredients, offering both western and Greek dishes. This is easily my new favourite hotel in Heraklion. This hotel is just impeccable and stellar in every single way. I can’t wait to return to the city when I’m less so in a rush (only stayed there for a night - but boy what a gem I found!!), so that I can also enjoy the spa services upon my next visit! Thank you SO, so much!

I like everything!!! The hotel is located in the center of town, within walking distance to local transportation, tour buses, markets, restaurants, museums, etc. The hotel itself is a new five star boutique establishment and is immaculately maintained for cleanliness. The entire staff was extremely polite and professional with special thanks to Katerina. the senior concierge who went above and beyond in answering all questions, and assisted in resolving a major issue I had with a tour company. Katerina. sets the bar for how hotel front desk staff should all be like. Katerina. is simply the best. I definitely will return to this hotel

I had to leave, There was nothing at all I did not like. Some people find the church bell too loud. I found it charming to listen to the church bell.

The staff was very friendly from start to finish. The beds were wonderful. The rooms were very clean. From the welcome beverage to our taxi ride back to the airport, the hotel staff were so helpful and kind. We walked every where as the hotel was in a wonderful location. It is a smaller type hotel that delivered a perfect stay for 8 of us.

To have a memorable stay as a tourist we have to depend on the hotel staff to manage daily operations, and create a welcoming atmosphere around us. From bed to breakfast and everything in-between, Dimargio Hotel has these key elements in spades. Katerina and Sophia at Reception are two standouts that made my stay feel like a second home.

Excellent breakfast and staff. Breakfast is buffet style, plenty of choice. Staff is very helpful before, during and after your stay. Super friendly receptionists. Large bed with good airconditioning. Shower with good water pressure. Fast internet.

Wellness and spa are a jacuzzi and hammam and cost extra.
