When I arrived at Sunrise Hotel, it turned out they were fully booked. The staff were extremely friendly and handled the situation with great care. They immediately arranged for me to stay at La Luna, another lovely hotel nearby. The owners of La Luna were so warm and welcoming that I felt right at home. Even though I didn’t spend the night at Sunrise itself, the way the staff looked after me really showed their professionalism and genuine hospitality. Had the most beautiful view from my room. The pool/dining area is really cool and during summer time is the perfect spot to hang out. The view of the sunrise was amazing too from the pool area. It was very close to the town centre and everything is within walking distance which was good. All the staff were exceptionally nice and welcoming and it really made a difference to my stay. Can’t wait to go back.

The property is on top of a hill so it takes it out of you after walking up but honestly it wasn’t too bad.

We had a lovely stay at Sunrise, their pool and bar area was very much appreciated! All the staff were helpful and they arranged a free transfer from the port for us as well as booking us a taxi early upon our departure.

Originally we were in a budget twin room that was better suited for a party holiday than a couple but we requested to move and the reception staff sorted this for us very quickly and kindly. We moved to a room with a balcony and they made up a double bed for us too.

Great facilities, location and reception staff were fantastic- we had to rebook an extra night due to a ferry cancellation and they were so helpful and accommodating with a new room, transfer to the port etc. We appreciated it so much

Decor was a little dated in the bedrooms, but we still had a generous balcony with an amazing view of Chora. Housekeeping was perhaps not extremely thorough but the room was generally tidied every day.

Super close to main village which has great nightlife and food options. Easy to get to the bus to take you to all the great beach locations. We walked to the beach from the hotel and it was quite pleasant and easy. Room had a blue door that blocked out sun light for after those nights out and it was so great! Pool was great (sadly we didn’t swim but it was nice to sit beside).

The shower curtains were to short that we kept flooding the bathroom… but it was fine. Just had to be careful the floor was wet if we were going to the bathroom at night after the shower.

The shuttle to and from the port was very nice, and the staff were amazing. The pool and lounge area is a nice place chill. The room was clean and the room service was nice.

My only complaint is that the wifi was very poor. There is a smart tv in the room but it is not possible to use because of the wifi. This could’ve just been the location of the room though, because wifi in the lounge was very good.

Fantastic location with excellent pool facilities. The room was spotless with daily servicing. The poolside bar and restaurant offered great value, and the food was delicious, though service could be slow at times. Reception staff were outstanding, while bar and restaurant staff were less attentive. Overall, great value for money and I’d definitely stay again.

Fantastic location in the village, walking distance to nearby shops and restaurants etc. Staff were very helpful. Also included free pick up and drop off to the port which was very handy. Room was spacious. Had aircon in the room.

Breakfast was great although it was only from 10am-12pm so not ideal if you’re wanting to get away early.

We absolutely loved it here. We went on the off season and it was absolutely amazing. The staff were so friendly, the food by the pool was really good especially for the price. The pool was incredible and the views were amazing. This stay exceeded our expectations. We could not believe the view we got from our balcony either.

The location was perfect, it was quite central to everything such as cafes, public transport, ATV hiring, etc. The hotel staff were very accommodating, friendly and went above for their guests. The free transfers to and from the port was very helpful. Also, to top it off, the view from our balcony was exceptional!

If I had to comment on something I didn't like, it would be the comfortability of the beds in the room.
