To start with, we preordered a taxi (through welcome pickups, they are English speaking drivers) to pick us up from the port. Yes, it’s expensive, but it was quick and easy to get to the heart of Fira and most importantly, the taxi driver called the hotel to arrange for the porter to meet us at the taxi rank. Without the porter, the hotel would have been very difficult to find, with the added issue of having luggage and managing the stairs. So I highly recommend starting the journey off with ease by getting a taxi and asking them to call the hotel. Please note, any hotel overlooking the caldera will have many stairs to navigate. We booked a room with a pool. Sure, the pool is smaller than it looks in photos but it was absolutely fine for the 2 of us. Pool temperature was quite warm (we assume that was the work of the Santorini sun) so we would typically go in at night time to drink wine and watch the sunset. The pool was cleaned daily. The view from our room was incredible. The room itself was fine. There wasn’t a shower curtain in the bathroom so could get a bit wet in there, but it wasn’t a major problem. Air conditioner worked really well. I had read lots of reviews saying quite negative things, but our experience was great. The manager was very friendly and if we needed him, we could message him through WhatsApp. I messaged the manager the day before check out to ask for the porter to help with our luggage again and this was no problem.

There wasn’t a shower curtain in the bathroom so could get a bit wet in there, but it wasn’t a major problem.

Fantastic views with stunning sunsets over the Caldera, close to shops and restaurants.

Poor maintenance: door lock broken, boards around pool/spa fallen apart and sharp. Water from shower goes all over floor, no full screen. Advertised as a pool however it really is a small bath. Deceiving photos advertising private pool, but not private as guests walk through the area to get to other rooms, and it is a bath not a pool. Would have been great to know that you offered a porter service to collect bags from bus or taxi on arrival. We only goi d this out after arrival, and challenging to get there. Would be nice to include wine glasses and a plate and knife to use, and a kettle, finished touches/customer service.

The seaview fronting the room is excellent! We enjoyed the astounding sunset of Fira very much.

It’s hard to pull our luggages from the main street to the hotel with no assistance from the hotel. Really exhausting.

The view from our balcony was amazing. We had front row seats to the best sunsets two days in a row. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean.

We would have appreciated advance warning that the hotel was reachable by foot. We walked for about 15minutes up and down steep steps with our baggage to get to the place using google as our guide. Then down two sets of steps to get to the room. After that we found a quicker, less steep route to get down to the main street which only took about 5 minutes without our bags.

Location was good. The view from the room was amazing and the perfect place to watch the sunset. Management and staff were all very nice and helpful. The breakfast offered was made to order and very good.

We did not like that the balconies are not private. We thought they might be semi-private but it really was a shared balcony with a low wall separation. It’s not a fault of management but the couple next to us were flying a drone for photos, so it felt a little invasive as the balconies were essentially one. And, it appeared that the lotion was not replaced from the previous occupant. It was half empty and had sand at the top edge when we opened it. With that said, we did still really enjoy our stay there.

Wonderful views from suite. Very clean and comfortable. Friendly welcome. Electric curtains. Great shower. Loads of restaurants and shops nearby. Patio and fridge. Great breakfast. Would recommend.

No kettle. The smell of donkeys around and coming into the suite. Only one drink allowed with breakfast. The Kratiras own restaurant was incredibly expensive (3x of others) and would avoid if staying again in Santorini.

The hotel's location was excellent, with a beautiful view of the entire caldera. The hotel and its staff, who were always very friendly. The view from the room and the bar were a dream come true. The breakfast was delicious, with a variety of food and drink options. The room was spacious and very clean. A special mention goes to the manager, who was excellent and very kind. It was my first experience in Santorini, and I would definitely return to the island and to this hotel many times. Thank you Mr. Gidaropoulos, was a great experience to me.

The hotel is close to everything but still no noise from the restaurants. The view is amazing. We had the executive suites. There are two of those with a spa bath, side by side on the highest lewel. We could see down to the others and you could see our terrace from one of restaurants but this was not a problem for us. You will have the same terrace with the other room and it's seperated with some plants. I thought it was enough. The donkeys are walking by the hotel everyday and you will hear them. The place is clean. The spa will get some dirt in it because it's windy and they clean them everyday. The service is great! There are not a lot of staff so if you need help with your bags, ask for it in advance. We were lucky as our taxi driver called the hotel and they came and helped us at once. But this is not always possible as they are busy.

The breakfast could start earlier but they work late so I do understand why it starts at 9.30.

Had a great 3 night stay in Santorini. Had an outdoor spa which was beautiful and the view is insane! Room itself is large. Location is great, heaps of restaurants and shops all at your fingertips in the heart of Fira. Breakfast was omelette, coffee, toast. They were really helpful with carrying our bags to the Main Street when we asked.

Spa on each room is next to each other and not private however didn’t bother us. Breakfast from 9.30am each morning didn’t bother us either.

Location was amazing. Few minutes walk to centre and bus / taxi station as well as cable car station. Host was friendly and amazing. Hot tub was insanely good especially when it gets chilly in the evenings. The view of the caldera from the room balcony is to die for. Just park yourself here and enjoy the majestic sunsets. They have a guy to carry your bag to hotel as taxis cannot drive in. The chap was like Hercules as my bag was like 28 kgs. Tipped him and he was pleasantly shocked. Guess most don’t :( Host ie the manager in charge is such a friendly guy and super helpful. I would for sure stay here when I go to Santorini again.
