Extremely clean, great breakfast options, staff super attentive.

Location advertised as beach front not quite so: a public road separated the property from the beach itself. The beach is 20 feet wide, rocks, both on the beach and in the water! Need water shoes to get in! Difficult access to the property from main road with hairpin curves and super narrow lanes, but that’s not unusual for Crete. Otherwise, very beautiful!

Wonderful quality buffet breakfast, lovely pools and drinks, cocktails in the roof. Massage chair. Very friendly staff, felt at home. Really relaxed in perfect location.

Nothing, apart from breakfast staff taking plates about quick and slamming cutlery when drying up. But minor, not a big deal.

Well appointed Hotel. We expected to be in the Almyrida Beach but were given a room/maisonette in Almyrida Resort. Modern very clean with friendly and attentive staff who provided exceptionally good service.

Finding a table for breakfast can be a bit challenging and the cut off time of 10.00 when staff almost immediately start clearing items away does mean that you must time your arrival with care and can't really linger. It was very nice to have an 'upgraded' room -- maisonette but the upstairs space was unnecessary for us and meant that the stairs actually cut down the floor space available in the room.

Very nice staff, super spacious room, giant very comfortable bed, nice side sea view from the balcony, parking right in front of the buildings. The breakfast at the rooftop with great views was very good, offering a thousand options, for every taste, and they bring a coffee pot to your table so you can keep refilling hot coffee forever.

The pools were freezing (but not important as the sea was great). The background music at breakfast was more annoying than enjoyable, as there's a lot of noise already and the rooftop acoustic doesn't seem to balance it all very well.

The room was spacious and the air conditioning worked a treat! The meals were delicious with a different menu every evening. This resort is perfect for families as the pool is lovely and the beach and restaurants are all directly opposite. Down at the beach we thoroughly enjoyed hire our sunbeds €5 each from Costa Anita . Our toasted club sandwiches and cocktails we're delicious. All the staff at Aylmirda hotel were lovely especially Marianna who served us every evening. She made our family feel so welcome and is a credit to this hotel. The housekeeping cleaning staff are all amazing too. Reception staff also very helpful. Organised our taxi transfer to and from the airport costing us €55 cash each way. This is a great hotel that makes you feel so welcome and the area is safe - everything walking distance just how we like it.

Everything. The breakfast in particular is excellent! The location, the rooms, the staff. We went at the very end of the season. We got upgraded to a bigger room with a sea view for free. It was really nice! We enjoyed everything. The staff noticed we needed bed protection for the kids and they installed two of them without us even asking for it! Just excellent. We will come back without hesitation!

The rooms just refurbished, spacious all with a nice sea view. Very clean and comfortable. The terrace on the roof with the pool overlooking the sea was just lovely. All the staff were simply fantastic, very attentive and friendly. Dimitri’s cocktails in the roof terrace and the live music are wonderful. Food is great, lot’s of variety for breakfast and for dinner, really very good quality. Beach is just across the street.

In the morning on the second floor the noise from moving tables for breakfast is a bit disturbing, same a for certain sewer smell sometimes.

Location was excellent and the hotel was very well; managed. All staff were cheerful and friendly and all did their individual jobs very well

Room was smaller than expected baring in mind that we booked a larger bedroom to sleep up to three guests. Fortunately there were only two of us.There was not a bed settee as advertised, just a chaise longue type settee that would have been too small for most guests.

Everything! The hotel and all the facilities were spotless. The staff were so welcoming and really friendly and helpful and the location was fabulous. There were so many small traditional Greek restaurants all along the road and the sea was so clear. There were also several long walks/hikes starting from the taxi rank which had some very steep hills to climb but had numerous breathtaking views

We were staying at the Studios, and breakfast was served in another location, except last day. It was way nicer here. There was literally a battle on the sunbeds by the pools. People would reserved them at 7 in the morning and then there no chance to get one. Plus they dont have sunbeds on the beah. Our hotel didnt provide beach towels, even touugh the other 2 locations did. And we paid actually a lot. The walls are extremely thin. We heard everything the couple next to us was doing. Bathroom were renewed, but the rooms are a bit outdated. There were kids at the adults only pool!
