It is a miracle: forest, hills, singing birds. Full stop. If you need 100% relaxation, you will find pure tranquility here. The rooms in the Herrenhaus are modern, cosy and clean. The breakfast is fantastic. They had even 3 options for alternative milk, I didn't have to ask for it.

If you'd like to stroll a bit in a small German town in the evening, you have to drive 10-13 minutes to Wermelskirchen. You can also take the bus but read the schedule carefully then. The town Wermelskirchen is a very simple place but they have 3-4 nice restaurants (bus stop Kölner Strasse). Near the hotel you won't find anything but a few family houses. Actually, the hotel offers dinner in case you don't want to go out but we haven't tried it.

We were there around the time of christmas markets. We still wanted to give a good review because we liked the place a lot. We were busy with moving these last months. It was a calm and charming place close to the christmas markets. The breakfast was also very tasty. We will be back.

We think the place is almost perfect, but we saw one little thing that could be better. The carpet was a little dirty with stains because of the mud. It is logical this happens close to the woods, but another choice of ground floor would then be better.

-Breakfast is 7-11 and we showed up at 945. No food was replaced so no croissants and eggs were cold and a sad looking :( would have been good if they made it fresher or warned you to go earlier. Otherwise nice buffet. - not sure if it was just our room but queen was less spacious than the photo. Desk was smaller and no walk way etc.

a fantastic place and quiet green dream paradice. A traditional and modern at the same time at the highest level with great service, large green park, free parking, including breakfast, spacious modern rooms with free espresso, free refrigerator drinks in the suite category. Great price performance. A fantastic place to come again 👍🍀😃

In the middle of nature. Good to go for a walk. Good breakfast

Difficult access. Hair dryer. Reception not on the same building. We were the only persons on the building and when we tried to call reception during night time no one answered. A bit strange feeling.

Friendly staff. Excellant breakfast buffet and evening meal for very reasonable prices. Beautiful gardens, peaceful surroundings good wifi and free parking.

Really a “hidden” pearl! Great value for money and definitely the place to get away from the busy city life. Surrounded by large park/forest with many walking trails. The original buildong are tastefully conversted into spacious rooms/apartments with top notch facilities. Convenient beds, large working/living area, modern bathroom, perfectly working AC. Restaurant is until 9 pm (at least on working days) and offers a buffet: still very good food! There are umbrellas to borrow in case of a rainy day, and a children’s playground beneath the restaurant outdoor facilities. Very very quiet.

Top mattresses could make the beds more convenient, bit it’s a minor detail.

this was one of the best hotel i have visited. especially considering the low price. extremely nice surroundings, very big room and a beautiful view. clean and nice. good free internet and plenty of sockets for 240 AC to charge smartphones and computer. the breakfast was great with all you could dream of. staff extraordinary kind and helpful. secure parking behind gated entrance. overall, this was something extra and the price..... stunningly low.

The hotel was very professionally run. Everything was spotless. The staff were very accommodating. Food was buffet-style, evening meal and breakfast. Beautifully prepared. Really excellent experience.
