What I love most about Hotel Amalienhof is how quiet it is and this is so important for a guest following a long day of walking and exploring the town of Weimar and beyond. I enjoy returning to my hotel room and relaxing on my bed in complete silence before going out later for an evening meal. Hotel Amalienhof also excel with their Buffet Breakfast. I could clearly see how much preparation they put into preparing the Buffet Breakfast for their guests and the staff are always on hand to ensure that the guest is fully catered for.

I have nothing negative to say about Hotel Amalienhof. It was my third visit to Weimar and third time to stay at Hotel Amalienhof. I feel very comfortable and at home in their hotel now as I am always confident that they look after their guests with the highest standard necessary.

This was my second visit to Weimar and my second stay at Hotel Amalienhof. I last stayed there from January 3rd-7th 2018 and I had such a wonderful time in Weimar then that I promised myself that I would return one day and alas, I returned to Weimar and once again stayed in a place that I know and like so well, Hotel Amalienhof.

I have nothing negative to report about Hotel Amalienhof or the very kind and hard working staff. I have stayed in Hotels in the past that have caused me a little stress but such concerns did not transpire at Hotel Amalienhof during a very enjoyable New Year's Trip in Germany.

This is a darling little hotel. The location was perfect for walking around town. The staff was friendly and professional. The room was clean and comfortable. The windows even open for fresh air.The bed was good. The shower was great. Breakfast was delicious. Absolutely recommend.

Nothing to complain about.

The breakfast was very good and the dining room is pleasant. WE liked the spacious suite we were given to stay in, and enjoyed the classic furnishings and crimson carpet and curtains. There was adequate closet and drawer space which not all hotels give you nowadays.

It was all good.

Everything was perfect. The room was exceptional, being large, clean and well appointed (not many stairs.!). Very comfortable beds, an excellent buffet breakfast and decent/secure onsite parking at a reasonable rate. Location is close to the centre of town and the Christmas Markets.

It was a very lovely, elegant old hotel. Our room was small but very pretty. It was a short walk to the historic center. The breakfast was very nice.

I didn’t realize we had to pay extra to park, though I may have just forgotten, but it was not expensive- - 12 Euros a night.

A good selection of options for breakfast but could do with a couple of more hot options,.as there was just scrambled egg. The staff were brilliant, the room superb as was the location to the pedestrian part of Weimar.

Nothing to 'not like' but the Wi-Fi was a little flaky some evenings.

I liked the excellent location in close proximity to all the cultural attractions as well as the restaurants and shops. All of the staff were very helpful and kind. It is rare now that you would be shown to your room but this is the kind of high level service you get there.

There was nothing I did not like.

The location is very convenient, practically in the centre and at a bus stop. The Appartement was very clean and quite comfortable. Although we were warned that the bathroom might be small, we found it to be reasonably sized. The breakfast was very good and the staff was very kind.

As the property description clearly states, there is no elevator, so you have to cope with stairs. The Internet kept breaking up all the time - cannot be relied upon.

The hotel was well situated for walking access into Weimar. There was plenty of choice for breakfast in the well appointed breakfast room. The appartement was well equipped and comfortable.
