The hotel is surrounded by beautiful forest and meadows, as well as a deer enclosure. Very quiet, yet close to the gondola down to Assmannshausen and Rüdesheim a. Rhein. One can enjoy a short, yet beautiful walk to the Niederwald Monument with spectacular views over the Rhein. Rooms are spacious and well equipped. Very friendly staff and ample of parking.

Staff amazing. Location amazing. It is a special hotel with lots of character. A great experience, something different. I highly recommend this hotel if you are visiting this area. Had dinner there 1 night and it was excellent. The rest of the time we did not eat there as we were out in the surrounding areas.

Lovely Hotel in a forest location with everything at hand with a nice swimming pool and sauna and our suite was set away from the main hotel in a shared cottage

Our room was a little cold on our arrival as we had been walking all day and we were wet through and were looking forward to a warm cosy suite- however this was quickly sorted

it was clean and the area is great for short weekend trip

the service needs enhanced, they are either understaffed or unfriendly, especially for breakfast it takes ages until you get something to eat. regarding breakfast this is average, no buffet. as I’ve booked the hotel for its wellness facilities, this were not as hoped! they have an indoor pool but in my opinion at least the water and the wellness area was chilly, for sauna, clients are requested to announce 15 minutes before in order to get heated. on big unpleasant service was the charging of electric vehicle. a) there is only one charger available and b) they ask for a flat rate of 25 Euro/ charging.

- Our room is not located in the main building. It is not convenient to have wellness so we skipped it. - The street light on the way between 2 buildings were even not lightened at 19:30. It was completely dark so we had to use the flashlight of handy. - The hair dryer is small and old; could be better for a 4 Star hotel - The lady at reception was not so kind - We booked a business room (upgraded with more payment), but we were given a standard double room until we recognized that this room was too small and not in line with the description. It was ok that people or system made mistake, just simply explain so that we would understand and smile each other. However, after a little bit arguing finally we got the room that we booked.

Great location, lovely staff and wonderful landscapes, the pool provided a relaxing end after a long day of travel.

The rooms were a bit small, I think we would have hoped for slightly more modernised facilities. The restaurant was a little expensive as well, but the quality of the food was good.

Beautiful historic property in a stunning forest setting. Lovely reception and hospitality staff. A feast for the senses when you're walking the trails around the property.

If you would prefer to be in a town, rather than having to access the property by car or chair lift, etc from the town this isn't the right property for you. I personally enjoyed the seclusion and accessing by chair lift, walk or taxi. Pillows were too soft, but this is me being a little picky.

Beautiful place to stay. Our room was lovely and the staff were welcoming. It was nice to see the deer park in the evening after a wonderful dinner. Parking good

The bath was very narrow and dangerous to stand in to shower.

i receive an accomodation in a separate house with 2 rooms. The large room has a view onto forrest park with animals. Extremely quiet. Splendid external terrace. Excellent foor and wine recommendation by the staff.

very friendly and helpful staff. location is awesome, super quiet. just 20min walking distance to the niederwalddenkmal.

selection of breakfast buffet falls short of expectation.
