During my visit I dropped down on the street. Bystanders brought me to Viva Sky and there they gave me ice for the pain and swelling of my face. They were very friendly and helpful. They called for the doctor and one of the employees drove me to a hospital, where I stayed for four days. After being discharged from hospital I returned to my room and there they gave my son (who came by car to bring me home} the room next to mine. Because I was still very dizzy, I left something behind at the reception when we left and immediate they informed us about it and asked us if we wanted them to send it to my house.

Because I am still very dizzy, at home I was not able for me to react to this message. So my daughter tried, but that did not work. We live in Holland and English is easer for us then Dutch, but still English is not ease sometimes. After several hours I send a short message to the e-mail-address of the hotel, but the mail could not be delivered. I tried to do it in my account in Booking.com., but this also did no longer work.

I made a last-minute trip to Konstanz and selected Hotel Viva Sky based on its positive reviews on Booking.com. It was a fabulous choice. Viva Sky is excellently located in the Old Town section of Konstanz. It is situated on the top two or three floors of an eight-story building; my room had a balcony with a beautiful view and the breakfast area includes a roof deck with amazing 360-degree views of the city, Lake Constance, and environs. Everything about Viva Sky was great, to the extent that I chose to extend my stay for an additional day. If I find myself in Konstanz again, I will definitely seek to stay at Viva Sky.

The best thing about the hotel is the wonderful roof terrace. Perfect for breakfast and evening drinks. The rooms are fine. The staff are very pleasant and welcoming. The breakfast is lovely. There are restaurants all around the area and the hotel is near the station and lake.

The entrance is a bit confusing. Mainly because it is shared with others. You need to take the lift that is up the stairs on the right but it is not immediately obvious when you first arrive. Maybe it could be better signed. There is no ramp up the stairs for bags either.

This is the best hotel in Constance. Every member of staff is a credit to this hotel, always happy and would go above and beyond to help you. The room was great ( we did not upgrade) the roof terrace breakfast room overlooking the lake is awesome and so is the buffet breakfast. This is our second stay here and the quality of everything they offer has been consistent on each visit. Wouldn't stop anywhere else in konstance.

Our stay a Viva Sky was perfect. Breakfast terrace and views amazing. Buffet breakfast was a treat. Loved every minute of our stay.

Nothing could possibly be improved on at Viva Sky. The hotel was very clean and well maintained. The staff were friendly and helpful. Without wishing to single out staff members, we would like to thank Priska who was on duty on the day of our arrival. Priska was, at all times, very friendly and helpful

Location was excellent. It was quiet in the evening to allow for open windows and fresh air without noise. The breakfast was excellent with wonderful selection of breads, fruit, yogurts, cereals, juices, coffee or tea, basically all you could expect for a scrumptious breakfast to start your day.

I really didn’t have any complaints, it was a brood find for this wonderful lakeside location.

Perfect position and the roof top terrace had the best view over Konstanz. Staff were also very helpful.

Sadly there are many European wasps at breakfast so it is almost impossible to eat outside on the terrace. Also the rooms are VERY hot. A fan is provided but aircon would be much better.

The room was large and bright, bed very comfortable and great shower. It was good to have a small balcony with a view over the city. The breakfast was exceptional and the staff very friendly and helpful. Sitting having breakfast on the roof terrace with a view towards the lake was a great start to the day.

We like milk with our tea and the milk sachets weren’t replaced after our first day. We asked one of the housekeeping staff who kindly looked but couldn’t find any. Reception gave us a small jug of milk which was fine.

Everything about this hotel exceeded my expectations. It kept getting better and better. The receptionist was fantastic. The room was clean, comfortable, and well decorated. The breakfast was great. The reception/ breakfast area/ lounge was on the 8th floor and provided fantastic views of the city skyline and lake. And the location in the city center was ideal. A short walk to the train station, to restaurants, and the Christmas market. I would gladly stay here again.

The breakfast was very good & the staff were very friendly. the view from the rooftop patio over the town is amazing.I was particularly impressed with the free glass of bubbly for me & my husband on the morning of his 60th birthday. This was something completely out of the blue when we arrived at breakfast. They had picked up the date of my husband's birthday from the check in.

the decor in the room is a little outdated & the there is no air con, although they provided electricity fans.
