The Camping is approx a 30mins walk south of St Girons on a seperated path from the main road so is accessible by foot, but up steep hill. Driving there is very straightforward. The staff were very friendly and the breakfasts were good, with freshly baked baguettes, croisants pain aux chocolats, yogourts and fuit. A hot drink of your choice is also offered along with orange juice. The campsite has some wonderful views, but it's slightly off the main hiking routes from St Girons (which are mostly on the other river bank). The room was clean & bright with large windows a good view and a balcony.

Not really an issue, but something to note; the booking.com booking I used didn't include the tax du séjour (approx 0.4€ per night). And the accueille is only open for certain times during the day (morning and late afternoon).

Very good value for money, and the restaurant on the camping premises is quite nice. Check-in and out very easy. Quiet rooms.

Rooms and bathrooms a bit dated, but good enough! Also, many mosquitoes outside, so the little balcony was of little use, but being close to the river and among trees that was to be expected!

Great views. Lovely meal and service at the on site restaurant. Value for money rooms.

Limited info on website. Renovation/decoration work going on right outside room. Distance from town centre - we weren't keen to walk back to town for the evening. Luckily the on site restaurant was great.

A DOUBLE BED WOULD HAVE BEEN PREFERABLE

The pool area could have been better. Very little shade available. Three stars is somewhat generous. The pictures were not accurate .

We stayed in a room which was clean and the bedding was clean, the room had good natural lighting and a balcony.

The camp ground was run down. Nobody seemed to care about the condition of the property. There was a large dog, who appeared to be neglected tied to it’s kennel, the dog had been to the toilet on the concrete space around it’s kennel, it was not cleaned up while we were there. The kennel was right near reception and above the restaurant. At the entrance to the restaurant was a huge ashtray of cigarette butts that appeared not to have been emptied for months. The whole place was awful.
