Lovely quiet, rural location with fields behind and a large garden to sit in. We chose La Sellerie for it's location, near to Fougères only 10 minutes away, where we spent a few hours wandering around, enjoying the town and a lovely lunch by the castle before setting off for St Malo. Brigitte was the perfect host, chatting whilst we ate our continental breakfast, served at the dining room table, which was lovely with assorted jams. Our room was lovely and a good size. The bed and pillows were just perfect, we had the best nights sleep.

What a hidden gem in the French countryside! La Sellerie is a charming little guest house nestled right next to the host’s home, which gives the stay a warm, personal touch. We truly felt like private guests. The highlight was the beautiful garden area, where you can relax by the romantic pond and take in the peaceful surroundings. If you’re looking for an authentic French experience, I can’t recommend La Sellerie enough!

La Sellerie is simply wonderful. Beautiful location and house. Our room was lovely, with the biggest, comfiest bed we’d ever slept in. It was lovely to have an outdoor seating area as the weather was warm and sunny when we visited. The breakfasts are amazing - fresh fruit, croissants, jams, yoghurt, cheese, coffee and fresh juice. We loved it. Our host, Brigitte, spoke excellent English and was lovely to chat to

I can honestly say that there was nothing we didn’t like

La Sellerie is a beautiful place to stay. Bridgette's house is in a quiet area surrounded by nature and has a wonderful garden in which to relax. Our room was tastefully decorated and the bed extremely comfortable. Bridgette was a fabulous host. She welcomed us into her home and provided excellent recommendations about the area. The breakfast was delicious. I would certainly return and most definitely recommend to others who enjoy quality in calm surroundings.

I would very happily stay here again and recommend to friends. Our host was friendly and professional. The gîte was stylish and clean. The garden and outlook were delightful and peaceful. The property is conveniently located for walking into the village, driving into Fougères or accessing the main N/S road the A84.

The kitchen area was very small - but we knew this when we booked so were prepared.

The highlight of our trip to France. Brigitte is an elegant and welcoming host to her lovely comfortable and well appointed guest house. The rooms and common areas are beautiful. The house is close to a village and just outside the castle town of fourgeres. Thank you Brigitte for a wonderful visit.

Everything was great. We stayed at the cabin. So clean, so quite, so beautiful decorated. The landlord was also great, so kind and well mannered. she made us feel at home. She also prepared us very good breakfast

as discussed with the host it would have been beneficial to have had a fan heater or some means of immediate heat as the evenings are getting cooler.

Brigitte was a wonderful host. We especially loved the little private area behind the guest house where we could relax with a cup of coffee or glass of wine. It was a wonderful way to started and end our days here, also the automatic shades in each room were great for both sleep and privacy!

The property is beautiful, wouldn’t change a thing

This is a lovely, stylish house in a pretty setting. The local town is beautiful and has some nice restaurants. The owner is charming, helpful and friendly. We had a really nice stay here.
