We loved the location. I asked for a lower floor room and was given just that. Good shower power and hot water. Breakfast was varied and plentiful. Very nice lounge with comfortable seating areas. Easy walking to all the main restaurants, shopping, trams.

Firstly I wasn’t informed half the hotel was shrouded in scaffolding and plastic sheeting. Our friend had it over her room so no natural light or view. The pillows are dreadful, hard, flat and inflexible. WiFi was so patchy that had I been there for business I’d have moved elsewhere. I enquired at reception and was told it was fine. Clearly not if I couldn’t log in or send emails. I’ve never had this problem before. We stayed at Le Grimaldi last February with no problems at all. TV was limited in channels. The lack of colour in the monochrome decor is rather dated and boring.

Staff was great, thanks to ,Nisa ( helped me find and directions too communication store so my phone would work,helpful and friendly . Christiano, helped me find top macaroon place, and as always friendly. Marie in kitchen was very pleasant and asked if everything was alright,appreciated how she cared about the breakfast for travelers. After them Laura, and Laura Lei at desk and Karina in housekeeping were great. In fact I apology for not knowing all your names ,but every person that worked there was fantastic. Thx for hiring such good people.

Location is really fantastic,right in city centre, 3 min from tram station that can take you to the airport. Also very central to all attractions and short walk to Promenade Room was nice and clean, bed comfy and water, tea and coffee was provided as well. Breakfast was 14 EUR and it was good selection of everything

The wifi was horrible. My room was located in the back /courtyard of the hotel and even my personal cell reception was weak. I ask receptionist if something can be done as I wasn’t able to work with such weak wifi. The answer was yes I know about it and we can’t do anything about it.

The hotel was in an excellent position in the city with easy walking to the beach, main shopping streets and the old town. Hotel staff were very welcoming and helpful, couldn't fault anything. Breakfast was fab, with a good range of hot and cold buffet items available. The room was great, with a massive comfortable bed and very clean, with excellent maid service. Very impressed and when we return to Nice, we will return here too. Many thanks.

Nothing of note, it was fab. The lift was out of action for a day, but that didn't matter too much.

1 thing I was so thrilled about was how sparkling clean this hotel was , hotel also well located, less than an hour on the tram from the airport which cost just €1.70 , how amazing can that be , a lot of places to eat and loads of shops around , very perfect hotel

Not a fault in particular cos I enjoyed breakfast all through my stay but would have been good if there are options and not same thing every day ( like fried eggs not just scrambled every day , pancakes , boiled eggs , sandwiches etc …. But breakfast was so good trust me It was also my birthday trip but didn’t get any treat from the hotel even when i asked they said I didn’t say in my booking though there was no option for them when booking, and I was told it was late for them to do anything 2 days before my birthday, but it was all good anyways

Perfect location. It is in the center, in between main train station and Promenade. Very near to very good restaurants and shops. What I like most is their breakfast buffet 😊 Very good variety of delicious cheeses, cold cuts and bread. There’s warm food too. The sausage they served was very delicious 😊

Only their hard pillows. But that doesn’t bother me so much. I enjoyed their super soft bed anyways.

The hotel has been updated and is modern in a well preserved older building. Our room was an "Executive Suite", and we enjoyed the extra room to spread out suitcases etc. Breakfast exceeded expectations. Staff is very friendly, and helpful. The front desk arranged pick up from the cruise port and later upon check out , the transport to the airport. The hotel location is excellent, only a few block walk to the Rue Massena restaurant area, then a block to the beach or to the Nice Old Town.

Location and area very nice. Close to all amenities. Cold water in fridge a nice touch. L’occitane toiletries.

Room and bathroom very clean but surface on bedside cabinets and dressing table covered in dust. Not enough hangers for 2 people. No hanging space for dresses - space too short to hang. Pastries not replenished at breakfast. Lift is tiny. Barely big enough for 2 people. Very slow. Local information/maps in reception might be useful.

The hotel was very well located in the city centre but not in a noisy part of it. It was less than a 10 minute walk from the Promenade des Anglais and a 15 minute stroll to the old town. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Valerie was fantastic. The rooms were excellent and it felt like it had been renovated recently, spotlessly clean, a good size and comfortable plus really good value. It was my first visit to Nice and I loved it and will return. on returning my first choice will be to the Hotel La Villa Victor Hugo

Pre-stay communication with Hotel staff was very good and they arranged a wheelchair to be available for my mother on arrival. Staff were welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The location was perfect -within walking distance from the tram to get back and forth from the airport, to the shopping and restaurant areas, to the promenade and the hop on tour bus. The breakfast was very nice with a mix of some hot food and continental breakfast items. Drinks available from the bar and a small area to sit outside the hotel.

My mum prefers a bath but staff provided a shower mat and stool to help her take a shower.
