Brigitte is a very nice lady, she hosted us in her place because something was wrong with the bathroom in her hostel, she is very caring about the guests and very welcoming!

Big room
Was woken up at 6am by builders outside, the window had no proper curtain so it was bright at 7am I couldn’t get back to sleep really didn’t enjoy my stay , no toilet

DO NOT BOOK!!! Emailed Chez Brigitte Guesthouse to clarify checkin details the day prior to check in and they replied saying the room we booked was unavailable due to plumbing problems and instead they will be moving us to a completely new location 3km away from original booking and we would have to meet someone at a random tram stop 3km away from original booking and they would walk us to this location. They did not provide us with the new address only sent a couple photos. This interaction was dodgy and we did not feel comfortable moving to an unknown location away from the area we originally booked due to proximity to train station ect. We refused this offer and requested a refund due to original room at booked address being unavailable. They refused to give us a refund due to it being within 24 hours of checkin and said we had no choice in the matter, although WE were the ones who initiated contact with THEM. We informed them multiple times we would not be staying at the unknown apartment or meeting them at the tram stop tomorrow and requested a refund. Have since emailed them twice and still with no reply and yet too be refunded 2 weeks later! Absolute disgrace! DO NOT BOOK, Chez Brigitte Guesthouse are very unprofessional or it’s a complete SCAM!
