A friendly, warm, heartfelt and courteous welcome at the reception. As hotel restaurant was closed, recepcionist lady/owner organized a taxi and called restaurant in nearby town to reserve a table in a lovely restaurant. Brilliant. Great service and service commitment. Ambiance of chateau is great. I love that. I was allowed to park my moto bike in front of entrance of chateau. Satisfied with room and breakfast. A vey special place. Next time I will enjoy the hotel restaurant.

This is an amazing chateau Beautifully furnished rooms and a superb wellness centre. Indoor heated pool sauna steam room. Best of all the restaurant. The chef if amazing. Innovative courses and beautiful presentation. Use the chateau as a base. Visit Vichy while there. Stunning spa town with amazing gardens. Also Apremont sur Allier. 50 km but a beautiful plus beaux village. Restaurant there and Parc Floral open on the weekend. The most beautiful garden in the area.

The property is an old castle but with modern facility. A dream getaway for couples. Our room was very spacious with an amazing large bed and big windows with view on the park

The staff is very nice, but a bit hard to communicate, probably due to the language barrier in our case

The staff made our stay at this beautiful chateau very special. We felt welcome and nothing seemed too much trouble during our four day stay, but we were never overwhelmed. Despite being a chateau, there was a surprising sense of intimacy and we came to feel very much at home because of it. In its own grounds, the chateau has a great atmosphere, and is steeped in history. Each room has been thoughtfully decorated in a very individual way. The pool area is modern, spotlessly clean and we really enjoyed and appreciated the sauna, steam room and sensory shower. We ate outstanding meals in the restaurant and again the service was fantastic. The chateau is a twenty minute walk or short drive from the interesting town of Moulins and from Frances’s national museum of theatre costume and scenography. We had a lovely stay and are already looking forward to our next visit.

The chateau is beautiful. It has been restored to an unbelievable level with modern features. It felt like our private castle (for the weekend it was)! Valentine was such a great host, we could not recommend more! The service was incredibly attentive. We loved the delicious breakfast and the wine recommendations! Wish we could have stayed longer!
