wonderful staff, especially in the restaurants so friendly. the all inclusive was amazing, so much range and it was al yummy. delightful breakfast, and snacks. drinks too all 10/10 the entertaintment was commendable, we visited for a festival that was taking place at the time still, one of our best nights was staying in bel ambra for karaoke night, it felt like a community there and everyone was welcome. the ski in ski out , perfect location. comfy rooms, the perfect size for two . and the view was gorgeous. Thank you belambra
nothing really, maybe for the bins in room to be changed more often. but even that is a minor thing. Thank you

All food and drinks were fantastic. Location was amazing. Bar and restaurant etc were nicely refurbed. Stunning views. Friendly and helpful staff.
This hotel suits our needs perfectly and I’m sure we will be back for a third stay. Below is just a few things to improve upon to get a 10/10: Two single beds pushed together. Wish the mattresses could have zipped together because we fell through the gap if you didn’t stay on your own single mattress. This was our second stay so we brought a little kettle with us to use in our room as my husband likes a cup of tea as soon as he wakes up in the morning. Fitted sheets would be better as the flat sheets kept coming away and exposing the mattress beneath - not very hygienic (although the mattress looked immaculate). Tables in bar area need to be cleared and wiped down more often as we’d often sit at one that had sticky drink marks all over it.

Was a little bit anxious as I'd read mixed reviews of the hotel, but we were really pleasantly surprised! We saw complaints about the hotel disliking the English or favouring the French, but everyone was really nice. Of course they were more inclined to speak French or serve French food, because we were in France! But every single staff member was really nice, the bar staff were really fun and down to earth, made banging cocktails, and there was the loveliest waitress at breakfast who was always so happy and lovely to talk to. The all inclusive was so worth the money considering how expensive ski resorts usually are. The bar menu was extensive, you could order all kinds of cocktails, beers, soft drinks, spirits & mixers & hot drinks all included. The buffet was great, breakfast there was always a great variety of choices (although the eggs were a bit hard and it would usually run out of the good stuff by 9am). Every day there's a lunch served in the restaurant as well as burgers available on the terrace - all included. And the dinner was always great too, a really wide range of options, an insanely good dessert area, and wine on tap. Sure a lot of the time it was very French food, probably things we aren't used to in England, like veal steaks and fish in cream sauces with bits of orange on top, but as I said - you're in France! And we thought it was all delicious. Most days they had steak available and one day they were even slicing us cuts straight off a fillet.
The rooms were a little bit pokey, but they weren't bad. A very standard level of quality, it didn't feel fancy, but also we didn't pay for luxury so we weren't expecting that. The beds were comfy enough considering. It would be nice if the bathroom was better stocked, our shower gel was empty the whole week and there weren't any little elements you'd expect at a hotel like glasses for water in your room or soap by the sink. Also the only way to get water is by going downstairs to reception which isn't ideal, especially in the night. Would be great if you could get water on each floor, they'd also benefit from a way to get late night snacks after dinner, even a vending machine or something.

Great stay! Was pleasantly surprised with the variety of food in the all inclusive every day (we stayed for 1 week thur to wed). Large snacks included waffles and crepes. The food was good quality and tasty. Staff were friendly. The ski in and out was good. Ski pass and ski rental were within the building for ease. Beds were a bit too soft for our liking, but overall a comfortable stay. The horse and carriage taxi took us from the welcome centre right outside the hotel, which was handy costing only 13EUR per carriage. I recommend Belambra for a large group (we were a group of 12) as it made the trip smooth.

Location was fantastic - true ski in ski out - the ski room was a bit squished but the heated boot rails were fab and there was a Ski set in the hotel which was really convenient. There was a nice atmosphere in the hotel and drinks on the all-inclusive package weren't limited. There was a really nice event on around 4:30 on the terrace where you could watch the sun set. The room wasn't massive but the view was stunning and the wardrobe meant that everything was out of the way. The shower was powerful and hot, so although initially disappointed, we actually thought the beds were really comfortable and the canvas wall covering with the mountains and snowy trees was cool! The buffet dinner was really fresh and lots of choice, and the fondue evening was really nice too as it made you feel like you'd gone out to a different restaurant. Really enjoyed our time at Belambra.
Breakfast was not amazing. Things were running out after 9am and weren't replenished. Things were in a haphazard order so butter wasn't near the toast etc. Milk, not near the tea and hot water. I wanted ketchup one day and asked one of the staff and they said that it was self service - I knew this, but there was no ketchup out like there had been the day before. We didn't love the entertainment as it was noisy, but understand that this was more for the kids to entertain them, so a great family hotel (we were a couple without our kids)

Unbeatable location and view. Ski-in/out is easily accessible from Tour lift. Food (buffet) was great and drinks were good as well! Rooms are a tiny bit on the small side, and shower/toilet could use some renovation, but these things may vary room to room. Walls can be a little thin, especially if you have an adjoining room (property mgmt could use some better seals around doors to block out noise). Overall fantastic stay; would recommend for anyone from friend groups to families, whether skiing or not.

The selection of food was pretty nice although it could be more varied. Ski rooms were pretty okay. All you can drink/eat definitely saved us a lot of money even though the quality of food might not have been restaurant level.
No real "Spa area". Just a disappointing wet and dry sauna. Would have at least expected a hot tub for this caliber of hotel. Made it so we had to walk 10 minutes to get to nearby hotels with spa (that we had to pay for of course). Pretty far away from city center (5-10 min walk). Food is pretty mediocre, but gets the job done. They ran out of a lot of types of alcohol during our stay. There was no Aperol for the 2nd half of the trip. The bartenders were of wildly different skill levels. Some were good, but some were just teens who never made a drink.

Pros: Great value: All-inclusive option with delicious meals, including lunches on the sunny terrace and a cheesy fondue/raclette night, made the trip affordable and stress-free. Convenient location: Ski-in ski-out access saved time and energy, while the warm boot room kept equipment dry and comfy. Family-friendly: Activities and entertainment are available for all ages, making it a perfect choice for families or groups.
Small inconveniences: The bedding (bottom sheet too small) and lunchtime refreshments being cleared away quickly were minor annoyances. Navigating stairs in ski boots could be challenging for some. Checkout confusion: Not having proper luggage assistance and receiving unnecessary reminders about paid taxes created unnecessary hassle. Lively nights: The bar can get noisy late evenings, which might be disruptive for light sleepers.

Belambra is in a good location, close to the main piste and right next to a ski hire shop. Belambra caters really well for a couples ski holiday. The indoor and outside bars were great for an aperol spritz and a crepe after a day of skiing and we enjoyed going for fondue one night in the separate restaurant. The staff were really friendly.
We found our room a bit dingy and basic, we had a twin room with an adjoining door and could hear the neighbour through the wall. The restaurant at breakfast and dinner was a bit hectic at times and appeared to need more staff to stay on top of getting clean plates and cutlery out.

Nice bar and restaurant. Variety of food, waffles and sweets for the kids at 4:30 every day, burger van on the terrace at lunch, ability to go to the raclette restaurant one night during our stay. Daily entertainment. Kids arcade games. Ski hire and lift pass on site.
Not much. If I had to be picky. A swimming pool on site would make it 10/10.
