Staff were very friendly and accommodating and sorted our urgent need for our stay at short notice after being let down at a previous hotel. Location was brilliant being so close the the centre of Montpellier. Breakfast was very good for 4 of our 5 mornings there.

Not sure what the issue was on our first breakfast but there were many shortages on food options and serving staff also, not what was expected. The evening meal we had was very poor quality. The menu choice over our 5 day stay was very limited for an establishment of this level. Expected better.

Excellent location Very close to the centre. On-site parking. Staff were really lovely and efficient. Reception staff always smiling and helpful. Well done to them all. Room and shower very comfortable.

The choice of food at breakfast. Fruit was always the same thing, tired looking pineapple, watermelon and melon. Eggs were undercooked and runny. Not a good breakfast selection compared to other Crowne Plaza Hotels elsewhere. Also during a rainy evening I was told the dinner service was very understaffed and it would be better to eat outside the hotel. Which I did. Catering needs definite improvement.

Room was lovely. The bed was really comfy. Only 10 mins walk to Place de Comedie. Staff were lovely. Breakfast was great, but staff were slow at replenishing food items and clearing dirty plates. Lovely pool area, but there were still glasses and items left from the day before. The food and drink prices were reasonable for a hotel. None of the negatives would stop us from returning to the hotel. We had a very enjoyable stay.

Had to ask for towels. The bar and pool area for snacks was not open, but you can order downstairs and they will bring up. It does open 16 May. A few issues like door to pool broken. They did a work around. The ladies near the pool were out of order during our stay. You had to either go to your room or down to reception.

Comfortable, large bed. Very spacious room with large bathroom and plenty of space for getting ready. The pool area was gorgeous with different beds and seats to choose from. A great pool bar to enjoy a drink after a swim. The location was fabulous, so close to the town within a 10 minute walk to the town centre or a 3 minute walk to a tram stop. But the hotel itself was in a nice quiet area away from the noise of the city to allow for relaxation and rest. Staff were lovely and helpful.

The breakfast selection could have been a little bit better but the food that was on offer was very tasty.

Everything! Great location with 10 min walk to city center and the mall. We stayed three nights in the suite with balcony just above the pool area and it was spectacular. With two sunbeds, two lounge armchairs and a big sun lounge bed it was perfect for my family to hang out in the shade as it was 30+ outside. My teenage kids stayed in a regular basic room and it was a good set-up if you’re a family with older kids. The reception personell were fantastic! We got help with luggage parking and they told us about where to go in the city. Above average I’d say. Same with the city, lot’s of friendly people with quite good English skills, as both these matters may very in France. Maybe since it is a big University town(?)

There were only around 10 sunbeds in the pool area and they filled up quickly. Slightly surprising that there were people who stayed at the pool area all day, since it’s not that type of hotel. The size of the pool was fine, but if it had been rectangular with sun beds on both sides to double the capacity it would have been perfect. That’s my only minus. We used our balcony and just went down for a swim every now and then. But we went out on excursions every day as well (don’t miss the caves at Demoiselles!)

We had 3 adult people in our room but there were only 2 cups and robes. I rang and asked for more but they never came. I also prefer herbal tea and there were no herbal teas in the room. At least two of the dispensers in the bathroom were empty (eg shampoo in shower was empty so I had to get the one from the bath mid-shower, leaving water all over the floor. The moisturising lotion dispenser was also empty)

The hotel is situated outside of the city centre, but still within a 5m walk to the Place de la Comédie. That's just amazing, you escape the noise and can rest in an environment without too much disturbance. The breakfast is amazing, good variety, fresh and delicious products, both at 7am and 9am so no need to rush. The rooms are spacious, well-cleaned and well-equiped.

The swimming pool is spacious, but with only +- 10 chairs next to it, you can never be sure to have one. Then the "claiming game" begins and you need to be ready to dash to a chair once someone leaves. This ruins the vacation feeling a little bit and it created a "competitive" environment as well. I would conclude with: too many guests for such a limited amount of chairs next to the pool.

Loved the secure underground car park and big spaces. The room was lovely and clean the bathroom was brill with a nice walk in shower. The staff were really friendly and spoke good English. Good location a short walk to the center

Only 1 small bottle of water in the room for both of us. The ice machine didn’t work and had to go to the bar to get ice they wouldn’t give me more than 4 cubes of ice.

The hotel is about 15 minutes walking to the Place de la comedie. It has got good beds, a service of kettle and coffee. Breakfast is good. The hotel has parking service 17 euros a day , there is public parking around the hotel. Near, you has restaurants and a big shopping center. .

They give you, everyday , a small bottle of water, only one, we are two.

Staff were excellent. Room was clean, nice bath. Was able to stream from my iPad through the TV, which was great when the rain wouldn’t stop.

Bed & pillows uncomfortable. Shampoo & conditioner hard to reach when having a bath Breakfast ok, would have like a bigger selection of fruits and some bread alternatives, i.e rice or corn crackers or Ryevita crackers
