Everything was perfect and so comfortable. The restaurant's chef has some talent!

I'm not deducting any points for this but my humble recommendation for facilities which charge a supplement for pets (I was travelling with my dog) is that they could at least provide a bowl for water/kibbles in the room.

There are hardly any bakeries around so you have to have breakfast at the hotel. Breakfast is 18 euros a head, for this price the breakfast variety is too small, the vegetables are even only a little cucumber and small tomatoes. No coffee machines in standard rooms, which is inappropriate for a resort hotel.

Everything, from location to SPA facilities and personal.

Even if the SPA facilities open at 7:00 a.m. , the sauna was not started, not even at 8.30 a.m.

We love most things about this hotel, especially the pool! Everything was in great condition and the air was so fresh! We didn't like the noise that we have to deal with every morning but it was not something the hotel can prevent. Some parents let their kids run all over the hallway like it's their own home. Another thing was the consistency of the housekeeping, our room was not vacuumed every day, on some days there was no replenishment of the bathroom amenities and the sheets on our beds were not changed for the 5 nights we stayed.

The room was clean and had everything you need. Very luxery. Lot of hotels charge a lot of money and do not succeed to expectations, but this one was above expectations. We loved the big shower. Also the location of the hotel is beautiful, surrounded with winefields and hills. Villages nearby are nice to visit, very cozy!

When we went for a swim in the afternoon, it felt like the whole hotel was swimming while the pool is not big enough for so many people. You come in to relax, but when it's to busy it does not feel relaxed, there is no possibility to swim, only to hang around a little. However it is a beautiful pool and sauna, with a nice terras, but i thought it was bigger.

Very good breakfast options available every morning. We ate in the restaurant on the first night (booking recommended) and enjoyed a nice meal with a bottle of local wine recommended to us by the waiter. We enjoyed a facial in the spa. Room was clean and fresh with a good sized balcony/patio area and a comfortable bed. My parents who were with us on the trip stayed in an adapted / disabled room which was very spacious and had excellent facilities in the bathroom.

The handheld shower head in the bathroom had sharp corners and I managed to graze myself on it to an extent that the mark is still prominent 5 days later. The shower itself was otherwise good though, just be careful!

It was a wonderful stay and i love the location of the hotel. It allows you to take walks directly in the forest and close to a castle. The spa is great, sauna and hammam rather small but just enough. Breakfast was good, and staff were helpful. Definitely better accessible by car

those are just super small details but would make it already a bit better; Paper cups wrapped in plastic in the spa area are really not at all environmental friendly. Furthermore, the coffee from the machine at breakfast is not the best

We really liked being close to Colmar while getting to enjoy the countryside a little more. The facilities in the spa area were very nice, though I imagine they could get crowded easily if you weren't early risers like us. The bedroom was comfortable and well appointed. We only had the breakfast on our last morning before leaving, but it was a great selection. The staff were all very friendly and helpful.

We loved everything.

The hotel is nestled in the trees and perched on a hilltop as part of Husseren de Chateaux village. The views of the Alsace valley and the vinyards are breathtaking. The nearest known village is Eguishiem (part of les plus beaux villages de France). Where you would need to go in case you don't want to repeatedly eat at the hotel's only restaurant. Which you won't be able to if you don't book before arriving (a typical French peculiarity, most restaurants won't entertain you without reservation). The hotel, however, does provide the possibility to order from a fixed menu 24x7 (a surprise given that this is France!). Fixed menu has a great pasta and risotto. The rooms are spacious. We were in a room with terrace where bunk beds were on lower level and the main bed on upper level. The room has two bathrooms and toilets which is a really convenient and nice touch. Terrace space was ample and on sunny days serves as sunbathing space. Hotel hospitality is typical French, warm, endearing but inflexible. All in all a great place to stay in Alsace. However you would need a car (the nearest supermarket is kms away) and nearest eatery in Eguishiem.

The swimming pool is small and limited for use by kids younger than 16.

One could expect a few tables to be kept available for guests A small curtain should be added in the spa ladies changing room to avoid going out of the shower and facing some guests outside just a few meters away ;-)
