The location can’t be beat—it was just a five minute walk to the international check-in area. The staff meets you just as you exit the baggage claim (assuming you arrived in New Delhi on a domestic flight, eg from Ladakh. Akash was particularly helpful as he sorted out a snafu between Delta and Air France by meeting the Air France representative. He was so helpful. Just follow the “hotel” signs in the airport and then call the hotel when you reach the hotel security screening area. It is probably an oxymoron, but this is by far the best Holiday Inn anywhere. It is MUCH more upscale that Holiday Inns in the US. Very modern, great wifi, and quiet/dark room to get much needed sleep.

A heartfelt thank you to HOLIDAY INN EXPRESS NEW DELHI INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT TERMINAL 3 for the excellent service my 88-year-old mother received during her hotel stay! The service at the hotel was truly beyond words — absolutely outstanding. Special thanks also to the hotel's Front Office Manager, Mr. Akshat Agrawal, who helped my elderly mother more than we could have ever hoped for. Mr. Akshat Agrawal was extremely professional, helpful, and kind. He is truly a noble representative of hotel management with his exceptional professionalism! The hotel's location at Delhi Airport was also excellent — it allowed my mother to rest well during her layover and enjoy a meal without the strain of having to travel farther.

This is the only affordable hotel in the airport. After a long flight it is a perfect location really helpful staff and good food with restaurant that serves all hours. Clean comfortable and lots of hot water. All you need for lay over. Make sure you understand which wing you need to be in. Domestic Wing- for those travellers arriving landside- so either international travelers who have flown into Delhi airport but who have NOT checked their luggage straight through to onward destination (so you will need to pass Indian immigration - evisa needed in for UK passports - to collect your bags. Holiday inn desk is on the right after baggage claim. You will need to show your onward flight booking that Must be departing from T3. If unsure the hotel booking staff were really helpful, the international wing is if you are genuinely in transit - so your baggage e has been checked through to destination so you dont have to pass through immigration,

If you book the wrong wing it will end badly so make sure you have been very clear with the booking staff exactly what your movements are, which terminals you arrive and depart from, and whether you have to collect baggage or not.

The location of the hotel was handy for departure flights. Comfy room, great water pressure and consistent water temperature.

The instructions to access the hotel was lacking. Had to ask airport staff and they told me to call them on a special phone in the domestic arrival terminal. Once I finally got hold of a hotel staff member as the free phone did not answer, there was a lot of security procedures to get to the hotel so it takes time before you even get to the check-in stage. Breakfast was very basic for the price.

Very clean and the bed was super comfy. The food was also good. The room itself was very modern and the shower was really good. Conveniently situated in the airport and easy to find (if you refer to the map provided on booking.com

The booking process is quite confusing as they are named ‘International wing’ and ‘Domestic wing’. I had to book a Domestic wing even though I was taking an international flight and my booking confirmation didn’t hold any info about which wing I had booked, so I wasn’t sure if I had booked the right wing. It’s also quite expensive and the checking in process is long.

Rooms were very comfortable, and once you’re able to actually find the hotel its location is quite good.

Seriously difficult to even locate. We landed in T1 and had to take a rickety bus to T3, but there were no signs for the hotel anywhere outside. You have to go through security to even enter the terminal and the guards had no idea what this hotel was. Inside the terminal there were no signs either. We finally found an information desk and the gentleman told us it was located all the way behind check in counter A - there was an inconspicuous unmanned desk behind a corner. When someone from the hotel came down you had to go through a lot more useless ‘security’ checks - people pointlessly writing down flight numbers. This hassle took like 45 minutes, time I could have spent sleeping. Inform your guests properly before arrival where to go and what to expect.

We stayed on the Domestic side, since we flew on a domestic flight to Delhi and had an international flight the next morning. The hotel is the only one in T3. I booked it, because we had a flight at 8 am, which was switched to a flight at 3 am, so I was very happy to already be at the airport at that time. Once we got hold of staff to help escort us in, they were very helpful and nice and took us through the whole process of getting the bags scanned for security reasons. The hotel itself was clean and check in and check out was straightforward.

We arrived on a domestic flight to T2. The little IHG desk they have is located inside terminal 3, which was a problem since the guards wouldn't let us in until 6 hours before our flight. Security told us to call the hotel, and after a few tries we got ahold of them and they told us to meet outside entrance 1A (near the staff only entrance) at the T3 departures and they came and escorted us in. We only needed a flight ticket for that (not the actual boarding pass) and passports.

Property location is best for international traveller

Staff were unable to provide exact information. Evening staff told us breakfast start at 6:00am and in the morning- another staff said it will start at 6:30am. As we have a flight at 7:00am we were unable to have our breakfast. However they managed to provide takeaway breakfast. Also the bedsheet were dirty which was changed by housekeeping team after our complaint. Also when I book for room with dinner service there was no information on what doe’s dinner package includes. Basically hotel should provide more details on breakfast and dinner when booking is made

Excellent location staff, room and cafe

we were told we couldn't take our bags to the room and not to clear customs however after finally clearing customs and with our bags between the Singapore Airlines staff and the IHG staff we were able to take our bags up. It would be better if they told you that if you had to collect your bags then clear immigration as long as you have a visa and then at arrivals once through turn left and go up to departures. Once there walk along past all the departure gates to the very end and you will find a desk for the IHG holiday Inn who can then assist you.

We were extremely lucky and grateful to have the amazing support and help from the staff at Holiday Inn Express New Delhi especially from Nawab Shah who went over and beyond to help us get into the airport (due to not having boarding passes!). His professionalism went beyond our expectations to enable a smooth entrance for us and we are extremely grateful for the work he did in helping us. The hotel itself was better than we expected. The entrance and circulation areas are contemporary and well designed, it was calm, quiet and relaxing when we were there. We absolutely loved the room, it was a good size for a nights stay, it was beyond spotlessly clean, the shower was luxurious with hot water which seems to be a rarity these days in hotels, super comfy bed, we had a great nights sleep, the hotel was quiet (we didnt hear a single plane!) and of course for our onward journey it was the perfect location to get to the airport check in desk easily in the morning. We loved it!

it is difficult to find the entrance to the hotel within the airport if you've never been before. in the room - the curtains were black out but light came pouring in down the sides of the curtains, so needed an eye mask for night time sleeping. the restaurant was good but felt a little soul less and was understaffed in relation to how busy it was, however the food we had was freshly cooked and a lovely curry
