I truly enjoyed everything about this hotel. I stayed for one night and when I came back two days later to Addis I had no doubt this was the best place to stay. It is in Bole which is probably the best location in Addis. The staff were super helpful and kind. They allowed me to stay a bit longer because my flight didn’t leave til the afternoon. Overall I think it is a magnificent hotel.

The rooms were very clean & cozy, quiet, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. It was my 2nd year wedding Anniversary & i asked for some red roses in our room in advance and They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. They were extremely accommodating and allowed us to check in early at like 10am. We got to hotel super early and I didn’t wanna wait. So this was a big plus. The sevice was exceptional as well. Breakfast was Delicious too! I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Addis and prefer to stay around Bole Atlas area.

Well there was a bit of a delay in replying to my requests from Room Service. And the parking area onsite is a bit small, it will only accommodate not more than 6-8cars at once.

Let's start with customer service. The staff at Check Inn went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. Whether we had a question about the hotel amenities or needed a recommendation or a Ride Call, the staff was always there to help. Their warm and welcoming personalities made us feel right at home, and their attention to detail and commitment to customer satisfaction was remarkable. The facilities were spotless and well-maintained. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and the decor was modern and stylish. The cleanliness of the hotel was a real standout, and we appreciated the effort to keep the facilities in pristine condition. They almost had everything we needed to relax during our stay. The manager of the hotel was truly outstanding. Not only was he knowledgeable and professional, but he was also personable and friendly. He took the time to speak with us several times and made us feel like valued guests. He went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable, and we were impressed by his commitment to excellence. And finally, the breakfast buffet was a real standout. The spread was extensive, with various delicious options to choose from. The quality of the food was excellent and were always impressed by the freshness and flavour of each dish. We want to extend special thanks to Yayeh Yirad, Tinsae, Seble, Mesfin, Dereje, Yetinayet, Samuel, Lamesgin, Samaria, Emebet, Saba, Aster, Elefnesh, Rahel, the entire security staff, and the many more wonderful people who are unique and made our stay truly exceptional. It's not in the control of the hotel, but there are sleep disturbing loud music coming from the neighborhood bars and restaurants. Maybe the city admin can pass a bylaw to limit the time frame or require some sound proofing. Also, the street in-front is too narrow for a two way traffic and parking; and it should also be properly paved by the city.

Helpful host at breakfast, Hotel is in great condition, seems new and a variety of local Ethiopian foods to try, although the hotel itself is in the Red Light district so it's interestingly busy at night.. Great room with the latest features e.g. mirrors that light up.

Our check-in was delayed by the "rules for people of the same gender apparently not being allowed in the same room". The person at reception wanted to charge us an extra 5 dollars per night for a room with twin beds. As a same-sex couple this seemed unfair so we did not pay it, especially since she said she wouldn't charge it on the system.. which sounded like she'd pocket the money. We ended up staying the room with a double bed that we booked at no extra charge. Also, the breakfast is very limiting if you're not keen for the very spicy Ethiopian food every day. No yogurt or cheese at breakfast. It was cold when we stayed, air con in room attached to light, not User friendly.

The second room I had was in better condition than the first, beds are very comfortable and rooms are generally clean. Staff were friendly and eager to assist. Breakfast buffet is very good. Good restaurants for dinner nearby.

Location in near red light district. As a solo female traveler I was okay but a bit uncomfortable walking from dinner after dark.

There was a wide variety of breakfast items to choose from.

It was a bit noisy from the bars across the street.

A great place to stay for families. The staff were wonderful and made us feel like family.

We would have liked notification that a party was booked as our rooms were located next to the stairs where partygoers were constantly noisily going up and down until the early hours. Building works next door meant early morning disturbance from workers.
