1. Very good facilities 2. Well connected with the centre of Geneva by local transport. 3. Hotel provided us with day travel passes for the duration of stay which could be used to use public transport and boat rides for free ( an excellent gift we did not expect). 4. Friendly helpful staff. 5. Free shuttle service to and from the Geneva airport. 6. On the first day a small room with a foukd smelling toilet was provided. The staff earnestly changed the room which took some time and we were given a better room. Excellent customer care.

A little far from the city with only the hotel’s restaurant to use for food. No nearby eating places and one has to rely on food delivery services. However with other positive points, this little issue pales in comparison.

My flight was delayed and I was only in the room for 2 hours to take a shower. It was a nice room and I needed the travel break, so I appreciate that the hotel honoured the reservation despite the late check-in.

For some reason, the hotel reported that I was a no-show to Booking.com, which is inaccurate. The messaging interface was poorly responded to and I never got a message through to the property staff to explain the delay and desire for a late check-in. I don't think I'd book this hotel through Booking.com again since they don't handle guest messages correctly through the App.

We liked the location. It is very close to the airport and car hire operations. The breakfast staff were efficient and there was a large variety of food to pic from. The room was well equipped, quite and comfortable. Tea and coffee was provided in the room. The staff are all very helpful and responsive and multi-lingual. I think the biggest asset at this hotel are the staff.

I do not like to shower standing in a bath. The milk in the coffee machine served in the dining room, tastes different and negatively affects the coffee experience

We liked the cleanliness and comfort of the hotel. The food was good and there was a good choice for breakfast. The staff in the restaurant were polite and helpful. They catered especially for gluten free meals.

Initially a very rude duty manager, Aurelien, at check in when we had an entire airline crew checking in ahead of us. I think they could have checked other guests in at the same time instead of the long wait after a long day. All three receptionists were attending to the crew who each had long questions regarding laundry, dinner, vouchers, breakfast, exchanging Swiss Francs etc that we had to wait long to be attended to. We eventually got a very kind receptionist, Jonah, who checked us in and was most helpful and apologized for the wait. In addition to this, we were in the restaurant for an hour before our dinner (Steak Tartare) arrived, despite the restaurant not being so busy. A Nespresso machine or nice coffee in the rooms would be a nice addition.

There was a problem in that my friend and I booked a room specifically stating twin beds with Booking.com, but when we arrived there were none. Recognsing that this was an issue between booking.com and Crowne, a manager upgraded us to a suite meaning we did not have to share a double bed.

The intial stress at being told we would have to share a double bed, before we strongly suggested that the manager should come and talk to us was difficult after a long day where we had missed a flight due to road conditions and had to divert to a different city and wait for a flight with availability in the morning.

We deliberately booked a hotel near Geneva Airport. The hotel was reasonably close - a short bus ride from the airport. The room was spacious and comfortable. We appreciated the free transfer service when we left (but see below).

Two things should have been done better: 1. We did not receive our Geneva transport card in time. The concierge suggested this was because we booked through Booking.com and so they did not have our email address, but our previous Geneva accommodation did not seem to have this problem. 2. Crowne Plaza should make it clear that it has a free airport shuttle service that includes pickup. We were not aware of this until we had paid for use of a public transport bus and arrived from the airport that way (and the reception desk certainly did not offer any compensation). I would also note that dining in or drinking at the bar of the Crowne Plaza is not a 'value for money' experience.

Good breakfast lots of variety.

Shower drain very slow, forcing a short shower (we call it a sailor’s shower) to keep from flooding the floor. When mentioned to the desk upon checkout, they wanted to know why we didn’t call them when it happened, but I was not up to having someone into the room at 9 o’clock at night poking around. Offered a coffee as an apology. Declined.

Friendly , efficient , informative , good command of English receptionists. Room is complete with everything including toiletries and hair dryer . Great breakfast spread . Free daily bus voucher . Free shuttle bus to airport 3 times per hour . Good location with bus stop next to the Hotel. Special thanks to the receptionist who made me feel so welcomed and warm by calling me “my friend “ . He could even speak a bit Chinese . (I don’t have his name but took a photo of him before I left to airport)

Friendly and helpful staff from the receptionist, cleaning service, shuttle driver, and even the bellboy. Loved they speak multi languages. The shuttle service from the hotel to the airport and vice versa is so convenient. Rooms are comphy and with plenty of space. Air conditioning was good. They have a bus stop right by the hotel that takes you to the heart of geneva and back.

Hmm. The bathroom may need a little up boost and modernising. The breakfast has everything, but the display needs to be more appetising considering the hotel known name.

Close to airport (could walk), airport shuttle, modern room with good facilities, standard rooms are a good size, coffee machine, good coffee at breakfast, very helpful staff (with moving room, public transport, restaurant recommendations)

Not close to Geneva downtown, bar menu not very big, la chatel restaurant seating was uncomfortable, no spa facilities, some rooms are dated and need upgrading (second leg of trip I asked to move rooms as the deluxe room was not as nice as the standard room)
