It was a nice little hotel for a super reasonable price, I mean the fact you get all you can eat breakfast just kind of gives back the worth of the money since you can save so much on food it's super nice, just make sure you don't eat dinner since that costs extra and it's not part of your basic booking stay.

To be honest everything was meeting my expectations and I had pleasurable time, air conditioning so you can keep your room nice and cold, you get your own mini fridge to buy drinks at the nearby market for super cheap and just keep it in your fridge, you also get daily free water and a nice and comfy bed so it's genuinely good for it's value.

The staff were friendly, helpful, and very professional. Even though we stayed in the most basic room, it was surprisingly spacious, comfortable, and stylishly furnished. The hotel facilities such as the pool and gym were excellent. The open buffet dinner and breakfast were incredibly delicious and very clean. In every aspect, this was one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at in terms of value for money. Also, my wife forgot her hair straightener in the room, and the staff kindly found it and helped us have it shipped back to Turkey. Truly outstanding service. Highly recommended!

The room view could be better.

The location was great, it is 15 minutes drive away from Salamis ruins (our destination), a retail park (walkable) and it is close to Famagusta walled city. The hotel facilities were good with a well equipped gym and indoor swimming pool. It is a relaxed hotel, it felt empty but breakfast was busy. The reception staff were friendly and helpful. We had a quiet well sized room that accommodated a family of four. We had an evening meal in the hotel and it was good quality and good value. I would definitely stay at the Grand Sapphire again.

Two minor observations, we are none smokers and thought that there was a slight cigarette smell in the room. The smoke alarm green LED light was flashing during the night...my teenage son put a t-shirt over his eyes 😊

There was nothing that I did’nt like apart from the hotel did not have transportation, which is definately a must.

The property was excellent, it was clean and modern. The superior room is luxurious and spacious with a huge bed, a a two seater sofa and an arm chair with a coffee table in the room, even with this there’s still plenty of space on the floor. There’s also a desk to work at, a TV and kettle to make tea and coffee. The wardrobes are very big with plenty of room and they have mirrored doors from floor to ceiling. There are also long full body mirrors either side of the bed on the walls which is a nice touch. Smoking is allowed in the room and ashtrays are provided and cleaned daily. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The ironing service was fast. Everyday someone would come to the room and change the bedding, provide shower gels and empty the bins, they even folded my clothes that were left out, this was a really thoughtful thing to do. I had a piece of music equipment, a MacBook and other valuable items that were left on the desk in the room everyday, everything was untouched. Very trustworthy staff. The Gym had everything needed for a good full body workout. Didn’t used the pool though it looked clean and big. The hotel is 1 minute from a late night convenience store, coffee shops, clothes shops and a place to eat. It’s a 10-15 minute walk to the popular bars and places to eat which are near the University. Overall our stay was excellent with the best hotel service we’ve ever experienced. I would definitely come and stay there again as my first choice in this part of Famagusta.

The only criticism would be not having safety locks on the windows. The 8th floor is extremely high to have windows that open fully wide without restriction, I wouldn’t recommend this to a family with children

The rooms were clean, the breakfast was one of the best we had at the north side so far. The staff were friendly and spoke English!

The air conditioning was really noisy we had to turn it off couple of times during the night, even though it was really hot outside. It was blowing straight on us! And the control panel was blocked. So basically you had to go downstairs to the reception so that they would change your settings. That is so unfortunate! It’s absolutely spoiled all our stay in the hotel! Because we couldn’t sleep well.

I really loved the breakfast, lots of fresh vegetables, fruits, eggs, cheeses, very tasty jams, on the weekend there were also pancakes. The room was cleaned daily, also with service always came two bottles of water and tea bags. Even though I would prefer that towels are not changed if not on the floor, they were also changed daily (and towels are new and big). The gym is pretty spacious but a bit tired. The hotel was located just between university and old city and it’s quite a walk, which I don’t really mind. The stuff is generally nice.

1. The noise. I could not sleep without earplugs, the window open or closed does not make any difference whatsoever. 8th floor and I heard everything. Not that important: 2. I do not recommend buying dinner, it was rather disappointing with very limited options. It is also very full at around 20. There are many places around to eat out, so I did that on other days. 3. Gym and sauna were closed at 21, which means it was packed before dinner. I never tried sauna and I would love to, but it was always closed even before 21. The water in pool was very cold.

I would say it’s a 5 star quality tbh especially for such reasonable price, and I’m usually quite picky. Very clean, very helpful stuff, spacious rooms with all this little stuff in the bathroom which is usually provided in 4-5*, amazing food and huge portions in the restaurant a la carte for normal price, good and fresh products for breakfast (and the tastiest coffee (latte especially) in Northern Cyprus so far). Would recommend it for sure, thank you!

Very good hotel located in the city centre. Amazing staff, very helpful, welcoming and always smiling. On the arrival we received a bigger room as well as on the leave a late checkout. Very good quality of both breakfast and dinner. Amenities clean. Room comfortable. Sauna and swimming pool in a good condition.

The WiFi almost didn't work in the room. The water in the shower was getting hot and cold itself. The window in the room didn't lock.

Location I had a lovely view of Polatpasa mosque a beautiful mosque which I recommend to visit Lovely call to prayer could be heard

Breakfast times as breakfast finished at 10 am on Saturday whereas it said breakfast finishes at 11 am on weekends. Apparently according to the hotel the weekend is Sunday only so we missed it on Saturday Also the air conditioning was operated centrally and the rooms were too hot I did tell them and they adjusted it
