Facilities: The facilities at this property are amazing, the infinity pool with swim up bar, the restaurant and the view were all top notch. Staff: The staff was amazing, such great energy and always really helpful, they made us feel like we were VIPs. Breakfast: Breakfast was great, lots of options and different each day Shuttle Service: The shuttle service to town and the beach club was easy to use and always right on schedule. Location: The location for us was perfect, Tamarindo was a little busier than other places we visited in Costa Rica so we really appreciated being further back from downtown and up on the hill, no noise from traffic or anything so it was quite peaceful. The view from up on the hill is also unmatched and perfect for watching the sunset. There was a bit of construction next door however to be honest there was a lot of construction everywhere we went in Costa Rica as it was the start of the off season so it wasn't unique to this one location. Langosta Beach Club: This was an amazing perk for us! As I mentioned we were staying in a much quieter beach town in Costa Rica prior to coming to Tamarindo so we loved the beach club access that was included with our stay. The beach club provided a private area with a pool & some loungers, and some sitting area on the beach. We walked the main beach in the morning and were glad we came to the beach club instead. Way less vendors, more relaxing and you are still right on the beach but also with some facilities we found made our beach day more enjoyable (bar/restaurant, loungers in the shade, beachside infinity pool, loungers, tables & chairs on the beach). There was also a desk where it looked like you could rent paddle board etc. we didn't do this but if we were there for longer we definitely would have!

Rooms: The rooms were spacious but could use a little TLC to bring them up to the same level as the rest of the property, they also were not the cleanest (stains on the bed sheets, squished bugs on the floor). We are a younger couple travelling on a budget so for us they honestly weren't that bad considering the price point of the hotel, its just because the rest of the property is so nice it made it stand out a little more.

1. I loved the selection at the buffet breakfast. 2. Loved the pool area. 3. Loved the nice big terrace - shame I was put off using it much because of ..... see my dislikes. 4. Loved that the hotel has a shuttle into town, and that if the shuttle is full they make an unscheduled trip so no one gets stuck. 5. The staff were brilliant. A big shout to David and his colleagues in the restaurant and bar, the staff in reception, housekeeping and the drivers. They all were the bees' knees 😁

The giant locusts! They're flippin' huge and were especially mobile at night. They are harmless and seem to be attracted to light rather than humans specifically, but if you're scared of creepy crawlies, think twice before staying at the Wyndham. There was no drinks menu. Not a huge deal but it must drive the staff even crazier than it did our party - having to go through the same drill everyday, especially having to check the price before every order. The ambient music. It would have been great to hear different music from what we hear on the radio at home. Not enough cover from the sun at poolside. There were only 5 umbrellas and a mad rush every day by guests wanting to secure the beds in those spots.

A well-run hotel with a beautiful view and fun atmosphere! The pool itself was exquisite. The lobby is beautiful and well furnished. We thoroughly appreciated the towel service, the access to Langosta Beach Club, and town-shuttle. I would absolutely stay here again.

We felt that based on the price, the rooms could have been more updated and maintained. HUGE NOTE: We travelled over New Year's, so I acknowledge that it was likely a holiday surge, but we had a leaky air conditioning unit and lightly-stained towels/sheets (they were absolutely washed/clean, but there were stains). The pool chairs/umbrella's could also stand for updating. The pool chairs with cushions had obvious mold-spots but that can be hard to combat in such a tropical environment, we stuck to the cushionless-chairs, which were great.

I had an amazing stay at this hotel! The infinity pool was absolutely stunning, offering breathtaking views of the beach. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a great night’s sleep, and the breakfast was delicious with plenty of options to choose from. The service was impeccable—attentive and friendly throughout my stay. While the hotel is about 1KM from the city center, they offer a convenient shuttle service, which made getting around very easy. I also really enjoyed the Langosta Beach Club, which is associated with the hotel—a great spot to relax and unwind. Overall, a fantastic experience, and I would highly recommend this place to anyone!

The staff is great. The shuttle service was perfect. Two drop off points and great times. The pool is great with lots of chairs and much needed umbrellas. Dinners were reasonable and very tasty. The view from all parts of the property is amazing Beds are comfortable and AC works great

The house keeping needs a lot of improvements. The deck glass is very dirty. Needs to be swept better inside and out of the room. Glasses were not always cleaned or replaced. Breakfast was subpar. Eggs either cooked too much or not enough. Lots of food but not the best quality.

Could not recommend this property more! Exceeded our expectations and truly made our vacation so wonderful. The hotel was paradise- beautiful location and so relaxing. Perfect area (quiet location to relax at yet so easy to hop on the hourly shuttle that gets you to downtown in 5 mins) vibe and atmosphere; the staff were also so helpful and friendly! I would 100% recommend and come back here!

Food at the hotel restaurant could be better. Besides that, no complaints at all!

The hotel had amazing views and staff were really friendly and helpful. We liked the shuttle service to the beach. As part of the hotel, we had access to the Langosta Beach, which was beautiful. Overall, it was a good stay.

For the price, we did think a few things could be improved. Breakfast had limited options, even more so for vegetarians. Shuttle service could be more frequent, we found we were having to schedule our day around it often. The shower pressure was poor and there was barely any hot water throughout our stay.

The staff, location ,pool, restaurant and very welcoming . The access to Lacoste beach club made it easy to access private beach, gym and other activities

Only thing which can be improved is in room few amenities which can be added. Like first day of our stay and washrooms did not have body wash. There was no steam iron . Day 2- there was no wash cloth and when asked they mentioned they ran out of it. Wyndham properties are known for excellence but I am assuming it is new property hence few gaps.

The pool was under renovation, so we couldn’t use it. They do offer access to a beach club about a 5 min drive away, but they should let you know that the pool isn’t available at the moment. The lobby and restaurant look newly renovated but the rest of the hotel (rooms, bathroom and hallways) look a bit old. The bathroom was also not spotless, and quite small and uncomfortable

Absolutelyyyy loved it here, stunning. Stunning sea view room, stunning view of the sea and gardens from the pool. Very friendly and helpful staff, great on-site shop. Tasty breakfast with music in the morning which gives everything a nice vibe. Nice live music on some of the evenings. Great shuttle service that’s included in the hotel package! It takes you to Tamarindo town and the local beach which is sooo convenient!
