The hotel was very accommodating to my taobao parcel requests. Not common for most guest they ever had i guess. I had 12 parcels, all were accounted for and handed over to me when i checked in. The staff were very polite too. I had a minor upgrade to a slightly bigger room that i had booked for. Thus. More walkway. Amenities were provided as requested. The location was great for top attraction spots in suzhou about 15-20mins drive away:七里山塘街，西园寺，东方之门. The jam in suzhou is quite noticeable. From suzhou station, it takes about 15-20mins too. 观前街is just at the back of the hotel. Hotel is surrounded by shopping streets and food. Btw the bed is super comfy, i sunk into it and it didnt gave me backaches the next day.

I believe the room i was assigned to can be a shared room with the neighbouring room, as there was a door there, thus could hear my neighbour at times when they were laughing damn loudly.

We chose the hotel because it seemed ideally close to all the best offerings Suzhou offers visitors. And we were right. The metro was close by too, but we easily walked to the majority of sites.

The hotel is starting to show its age and on occasion we could hear our neighbours through the wall. Apart from that I can’t think of much more to criticise.

Very comfortable hotel, stylishly furnished, and in a convenient location just four or five minutes' walk from Leqiao metro station - easy to move around the city from there. Also there are many shops and restaurants in the area behind the hotel. I did not have breakfast at the hotel. Tea and coffee facilities in the room. Wifi was good, plentiful hot water for showering.

It seems many of the staff speak little or no English, but I was able to get by with my limited Mandarin.

Great location just round the corner from Suzhou's shopping district and a short walk to the canal street. Spacious room, comfy bed, good breakfast buffet and well maintained. Staff at reception spoke a bit of English, but I recommend loading a translation app on your phone - mainly to translate the menus... Subway station is 200m walk. Highly recommend.

Location is very close to metro. There is a street nearby with a bunch of restaurants. Breakfast has good variety.

Asked for a non-smoking room but there's definitely residual smoke smell in the room (which went away after I left the window open for a day). Pillows are way too soft but that's just personal preference.

Great customer service, helpful. Location is close to subway and many eating shops around.

Beds are small, king single rather than double or queen size. Provided two beds for 3 people. There is no refrigerator although advertised as having one.

Breakfast is really amazing. One of the best I’ve tested in China.

Fornitures in the room are a little bit old and should be renewed. We have a problem with plugs in the room: none was working with adapters (easily used in other hotels during our trip).

Friendly and attentive staff members. The guy at the reception ( cannot remember his name) were so helpful and sort out to get our change back from taxi driver. Very good location. Near metro and easy to commute from train station and other attractions.

Very old hotel room. Need to upgrade the facilities.

Very comfortable location in the city center, at the intersection of two subway lines - you can reach easily Tongli ancient town. Breakfast is very good, definitely worth paying extra.

The hotel is quite old, definitely needs some refreshing, but cleanness, location and good price justify that.

The location is pretty good close to the center and a lot of shops around does look like the photos but some years ago, so everything is useful but somethings are a bit old. But for the rest it’s a really nice hotel for the price and location.
