I am back in Europe and it's time to review this wonderful hotel. Warm welcome started already ahead of my trip when I got an e-mail from Manuela who asked about my arrival time and advised that I could check in already at 10 am. Once I arrived I was welcomed by Manuela and the owners: Alfredo and his wife Patricia. They are such warm and friendly people that made me feel like a part of their family. The room was spacious, well equipped, with attention to details: bottle of water, slippers, cosmetics. The building itself is a very nice architecture. Breakfast was amazing, warm bread, fruits, cheese, fantastic Casa Conde eggs made by Alfredo. Top class! Everbody was so welcoming, including the dog Romeo :-) It was difficult to leave this wonderful place where I felt safe and happy. I travelled solo, did many wine tours and each time I had a pick up for the tour, somebody escorted me to the car to make sure that I reached right place. Thank you very much to all of you (Patricia, Alfredo,Manuela and Flavia), I keep my great memories of you inside my heart. Hasta la vista!

The staff really went out of their way to ensure my stay was as comfortable as possible, so much so it felt like home by the time I left. My room was incredibly comfortable, exceptionally clean, and the breakfast was superb. Great location with many museums, galleries and places of interest easily walkable. Also very close to public transport should you want this.

This a wonderful hotel managed by the most hospitable owner,Patricia!We needed some help and she made a lot for us! We travel a lot and to find such a clean and comfortable place is really a gift!Everything is so well organized, you have all you need.The building is a historic one and it makes you feel like you can touch the past. The bed and the pillows are comfy.The linen,the towels of different sizes are new and white. The breakfast is amazing!We liked the location as it is near the metro station.But still it is very quiet and you can sleep with an open window. Casa conde is a real gem!Thanks a lot for such a wonderful staying!

Casa Conde is a very special place. The building is beautiful, the location lovely, and the rooms are stylish and well equipped. The breakfast, especially the famous casa conde eggs, is amazing. Patricia and Alfredo are delightful, caring and entertaining. Very helpful with advice, leant us a card for the subway, and booked our very reasonable taxi to the airport. We also loved the community dog, Romeo. Highly recommended, we would stay again any time in Santiago.

We booked a superior king suite which does not exist, the situation was quickly and amicably resolved however and the 2 rooms we had instead were delightful.

This building is truly beautiful and the whole neighborhood is full of amazing architecture that has been preserved. The rooms are comfortable with clean, modern (but small) bathrooms. The breakfast and room amenities are VERY generous. We loved our stay here. There are a few charming idiosyncrasies to be aware of though if you are used to American chain hotels The reception, common area and breakfast are on the third floor (no elevator). When you leave the hotel, you leave your room key with reception and then use WhatsApp or the door bell to get back in and retrieve your room key.

I somehow booked a room for 1 adult but didn't catch it because it was a "double" room. This mean a double bed, not two people. Everything was sorted out out just fine at reception, but I don't think I was the only one who was confused by the room naming based on other guest's conversation.

From the beginning at checkin to the day we said goodbye the staff could not have been more friendly or helpful. The homemade breakfast was delicious. The whole hotel in a 100 year old building was charming. Loved the location in a quiet residential neighborhood that gave us a taste of the "real" Santiago. It was easy to walk to the more touristy areas but nice not to stay there.

There was not air con and we were there during a heat wave. Did have pretty good cross ventilation with the windows.

This was the most charming boutique hotel I’ve ever stayed in. I didn’t expect it would be so great considering the more than reasonable price. The architecture of the building is very beautiful and the interior is very nice and decorated with taste. Patricia is a wonderful host, very helpful and with a lovely energy. This is one of those places that makes you feel sad that you live on the other side of the planet and likely not able to return anytime soon. Many many thanks for everything, Patricia!

Hotel is in an old house with high ceilings and wooden floors where you can walk to Republic metro station and the bus stop for the airport. Owners were welcoming and kind. We were there over New Year and they held a little get together for all their residents at midnight. Beds were comfortable, bottled water everyday, breakfast was good, helped with the luggage up the stairs and their dog was friendly. We would stay there again.

Extremely generous and hospitable owners, Alberto and Patricia. They welcomed us warmly and made us feel like family. We stayed in two rooms, both sizeable and beautifully (simply) decorated. The internet worked just fine. The room with the interior view was more quiet and better to sleep. The breakfast was good.

The room with the street view was fine, too, but there was some music coming from the rooftop bar in the area. For light sleepers, we would recommend an interior facing rooms. Otherwise, we liked everything.

Casa Conde exemplifies why one searches for a boutique hotel versus a chain hotel. The level of personal attention and warmth is all made possible by the owners and operators, Patricia and Alfredo. We arrived as guests and left feeling like family. If you are visiting from another country and want to get to know a spectacular and loving Santiago couple in a unique house in a truly iconic neighborhood, then this is for you. When we return to Santiago, this is where we'll stay for sure. Highly recommend!
