As a seasoned traveller to Santiago I chose this place because of the location, good reviews on the quality of wifi (and from the past experience it is usually problematic in the hotels in the centre, even more expensive ones) and sufficiently early check-in time which allowed me to go straight to the hotel from my Qantas flight. In addition, the hotel is pretty much across the road from the current (temporary?) stop of the Centropuerto airport bus (and the original stop at los Heroes is still in a walking distance). At the end all my expectations were fulfilled or exceeded. I'd say this is the best hotel in this price category in the centre. The hosts are excellent, helpful and attentive. The rooms were rather quiet too which helped when I needed to sleep in some non-standard time due to jet-lag. Overall, should I need to stay in the centre of Santiago again I wouldn't hesitate staying in this place again.

Nothing really. Someone could've said that the bathroom may be a bit dated and in need of attention. But I can tell it will be pretty much like that if not worse for all hotels in the area including more expensive ones.

Absolutely loved staying in this gem of a hotel! Safe and central location with some lovely restaurants nearby. The building is older and very beautiful so there are wooden floorboards from which you may hear some light steps but I popped earplugs in to sleep and had the most amazing and peaceful rest as the curtains were 100% blackout. I opted to book breakfast and it was a huge and delicious array, prepared fresh at the time of your choosing. However the standout was the service. From pre arrival comms to liaising with the wonderful Mayra during my stay for whom nothing was too hard to arrange and just a pleasure to chat with. Following a lot of trekking she even recommended a massage nearby which was one of the best I’ve ever had! I won’t hesitate to stay here upon return to Santiago.

Exceptionally warm friendly caring hospitality from proprietors Alfredo & Patricia and all the staff. A quaint old manor house with nice updated bathrooms, good wi-fi, comfortable beds and high quality bedding, spotlessly clean. Lovely generous breakfasts including eggs cooked personally. Coffee, teas, water and cake available all day. Big bottle of water and nice snacks in room. Fantastic location which was the last pick-up and first drop-off for my excursions, near Republica Metro, and a leisurely 30 minute stroll to either the central plaza sights to the east or Museum of Memory and Human Rights park to the west. Uber / taxis are c. USD6 around town and USD14-24 to/from airport. Hosts invited us along to the big grape harvest wine tasting festival in Santiago. We checked in and out and extended our stay as we used Casa Conde as a base for trips and excursions further afield. They let us stay and keep our luggage in the same room which was so convenient.

Beautiful hotel, with staff who clearly cared about making our stay as nice as possible. We stayed during winter (in July) and while it was cold, each room came equipped with a heater and warm blankets. We also loved the breakfast - bread, meats (or avocado for vegetarians!), cheeses, tomatoes and individual portions of scrambled eggs, along with fruits, yoghurts and cake! The interior was so charming and it was about 30 mins walking to many of the main attractions in Santiago Central :) thank you for such a nice stay!

This small, family run hotel was delightful - a restored old building on a very quiet downtown street. Chatting with the Owner, they renovated the 22 guest rooms on levels 2 and 3 while living in apartment above, wrapping up as Covid stalled the tourist market. Now in full swing, the interior combines lovely old wood finishes with new fixtures and intentionally modest furnishings. The staff was super helpful and seem very proud of their efforts. Considering the value, the history, and the location -it’s an emerging barrio and Chile’s president now lives a few blocks away- this stay was a highlight of my Santiago visit.

Really, not much!

I am back in Europe and it's time to review this wonderful hotel. Warm welcome started already ahead of my trip when I got an e-mail from Manuela who asked about my arrival time and advised that I could check in already at 10 am. Once I arrived I was welcomed by Manuela and the owners: Alfredo and his wife Patricia. They are such warm and friendly people that made me feel like a part of their family. The room was spacious, well equipped, with attention to details: bottle of water, slippers, cosmetics. The building itself is a very nice architecture. Breakfast was amazing, warm bread, fruits, cheese, fantastic Casa Conde eggs made by Alfredo. Top class! Everbody was so welcoming, including the dog Romeo :-) It was difficult to leave this wonderful place where I felt safe and happy. I travelled solo, did many wine tours and each time I had a pick up for the tour, somebody escorted me to the car to make sure that I reached right place. Thank you very much to all of you (Patricia, Alfredo,Manuela and Flavia), I keep my great memories of you inside my heart. Hasta la vista!

Spacious, comfortable room in historic building, good bathroom with bath, excellent breakfast, but above all the very friendly and helpful staff who went out of their way to make my stay enjoyable and advise me on transport, excursions, food and drink. I only wish I could have stayed longer.

There is no air conditioning, but the building has thick walls and the room had a large fan. This was sufficient for me to keep the room comfortable even in warm summer weather (mid thirties C).

Nestled in a serene street within a delightful Santiago suburb, this location is perfect for exploration, particularly if you have an affinity for street art. The staff exhibited exceptional friendliness, offering valuable tips on local attractions and dining spots. The breakfast, while of good standard, leaves room for improvement. Additionally, the room was notably clean and comfortable, with a bathroom that met high standards.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for four days while visiting Santiago. It was very quite clean, and provided a lovely breakfast,. The staff was extremely helpful and attentive, meeting all of our needs, and going above and beyond.It was within walking distance to major locations, including a Starbucks.

Just to be aware as with most older buildings in Santiago, it does not have an elevator. This was not an issue for us but maybe for older people.

Classic stylish historic building in a well-located area. Plenty of nearby restaurants, close to all of the attractions we wanted to see for three days on our first visit to Santiago. Incredibly helpful and attentive young staff. I think they all really went the extra distance for us. And the room was wonderful.
