Beautiful grounds, staff, facilities are always wonderful and why we stay here repeatedly
Pillows were uncomfortable. More comfortable pillows are usually on offer if you ask, but this time they weren't available for either night of our stay. Also bathroom was very tiny and in need of renovation. Our 2 night stay was over 1100 dollars and frankly I'd expect more for the price point. Also they no longer have a door person. These are minor points but we are paying more and getting less than we have in the past. As a very frequent guest, this is very disappointing.

The property was beautiful and the amenities were awesome. I just felt the room that we stayed in was very tired looking and I mean tired. I don’t think it’s worth the money they’re asking for a per night. I do feel attention to detail needs to address to maybe certain rooms like the one we stayed in 111 There was a dirty fingerprints on the curtains. The bathroom door on the back is peeling things like this need to be addressed for the money they are asking for per night. I also felt that the Hot Springs were assess pool. It was so dirty. I just felt it was disgusting that needs to be addressed. I will not go back in the Hot Springs.

We have been to other vintage properties but the outside was spectacular. The gardens was such a beautiful feature and with the outside bar was pretty nice. Check in was easy and the actual hotel is alot bigger than what we expected. We liked the fact that it was just down the street from both the strip and wineries such as Peller and two sisters. We had a spa day and the spa facilities are quite nice and cool that it's off by itself. We liked that there is a resturaunt and bar so you don't have to commit to a formal dinner and can just grab a wrap or pizza.
We booked an upgrade room but when we got there they said it was not available so gave us the standard room and refunded us. Our room was literally at the end of the building so we had to walk a bit. The rooms were nice but at other Vintage hotels they typically provided complimentary bottle of wine so we were expecting that. We also had a joint room so even though we weren't sharing with the neighbours we could hear them and knew when room service was coming or what they were watching on TV. We did the hot springs to start off. At 10am there was 12 people so very busy for our first time. However when I booked 11am it was just me and one other couple so it's a hit and miss on the privacy of the springs. The hot springs area is very small. We also got a massage which was nice.

The room was lovely and spacious, and the grounds and resort were very nice. Both the indoor and outdoor pools and hot tubs were very nice. The indoor hot tub was very sandy one of the days. The outdoor pool is heated, but be aware it’s not hot like a hot tub, so in winter it may not be comfortable for everyone. The outdoor hot tub is called the Hot Springs and is included with the stay but must be booked in 20 min time slots in the spa. I signed up for yoga one day which is also included and was the only attendee with the teacher which was lovely. We didn’t get to try the ice rink or Monet gardens, but they looked lovely. The service was extraordinary, both the human service and their AI “Ivy” that we could text. Ivy helped me turn on the fireplace, change our hot springs reservation, and got a microwave for our room. It was a very cool service addition. The evening turndown service and rose on our pillow was sweet!
This is an older hotel that has been renovated, but the paint and wallpaper were chipped and torn. It was a little off putting at first. The service and overall experience made those things invisible by the second day, but given the price of the hotel it was a bit surprising. The majority of guest parking is across the street and around the corner. It’s not that far to walk at all, but in the middle of winter it felt far when I was walking in a dressy outfit for going to dinner. When I forgot something in the car I thankfully have a sweet husband who went to get it for me.

We love the hot spring and heated pool. It's why we book the winter months every year! Having the staff reach out and show they paid attention to details when we mentioned we were celebrating our anniversary really helped us feel special! The room upgrade, the complimentary bottle of wine, and a simple rose elevated our experience immensely. Thank you to all the staff at Pillar and post!
Only comment was the buffet breakfast was under whelming for the price we paid. Everything was barely warm and bland. If food could be hotter and more variety i feel guests would be happier. After eating the amazing dinner at the Canary Restaurant the night before and having our socks knocked off to a mediocre breakfast was disappointing.

We thoroughly enjoyed all of the heated pools and hot springs! This was our primary reason for booking and we have no regrets! The staff was also incredible.
I would have guessed the rooms would have been nicer given we upgraded to a room with a fireplace but the bathroom has a terrible shower with no water pressure and the bed was extremely uncomfortable. Still over all truly enjoyed our stay but I do wish they would upgrade these two things. I would consider staying elsewhere and just paying for daytime access to facilities next time.

The accommodations were spacious, and the bedding was soft and very comfortable! The lunch served was very tasty and the staff were very friendly. The outdoor pool was a treat i definitely enjoyed. That was a highlight for me.
The room needed some paint touch-ups..the trim was banged up all around the bathroom door, and it looked sloppy. I could see peeling paint in sections of the exterior of the hotel. I know all buildings have wear and tear but with the cost, I was a little surprised.

The hotel has a good vibe to it. 2 pools, a workout room, a sauna and a full spa. I don't think you could ask for much more. Overall it has a spa getaway type of vibe as they provide you with very nice robes. The staff was amiable and attentive to needs.
The hotel is getting very close to needing a facelift in the hallways and rooms. Everything is clean but it can have a not-so-clean feel as carpets, wall panels, paint and so on are worn. Each hallway has a unique smell to it of musk and dried beer. It's not bad enough that we wouldn't return, but it's time to consider some upgrades. (for reference, I like things to be extremely clean but would stay again. So don't let this comment deter you)

The Spa was fantastic, one of the highlights for sure! The Pool was very nice as well and it was great that it was heated enough to be in outside as well! The Cannery was incredible, amazing food, amazing service, the restaraunte itself was beautiful!
I thought the room it self could have been nicer for the price. The fire place didnt work even though maintenance came and tried to fix it, the bed was very very firm, the pillows were ok, the bathroom I just expected to be nicer for the cost of the room.

Great location within walking distance from Queen Street and some local vineyards. The complimentary shuttle service to nearby areas was wonderful as was Phil who operated it at the time! The wider staff were generally friendly and helpful, the turndown service was also a very nice touch!
The buffet breakfast could do with some improvement as there were limited options and the bacon was burnt, although part of this might be due to us arriving 15 minutes before the buffet breakfast finished. The sauna in the spa could also do with a refurb as it looked worn down and the ‘hot spring’ outdoor could do with more attention as it had quite a few leaves and debris on the last day we used it.
