Beds were comfortable and the room was clean. Supermarket and gas station were within walking distance, which was convenient. The lobby area was clean and inviting

The doors do not insulate sound or light well. Unfortunately, one of the nights we were there, there was a big group visiting, and it was very loud with people walking through the halls and doors closing. You can pretty much hear everything that is happening in the hallway. Hot tub looked a little murky.

Bed was really comfortable, clean room, no annoying chemical scents, bottles of shower products were refillable! Coffee was great, no need for cream. Lovely touch to have bottled water. Good size fridge and safe too.

Pillows were a wee bit lumpy and air conditioning was good but noisy. Just a heads up that construction continues at Essa - redoing 400 interchange. We got lost briefly but recovered with a minor correction. Noise was not heard over fan and a/c.

This is a great hotel every time I visit, it is not in town but very close by car. Great staff, facilities, rooms, parking and bar! There was a mix up on my reservation that the front desk had no issue fixing and the bar staff were very helpful with local knowledge and tips.

The breakfast was a let down unfortunately, but the free muffins made up for it!

The bed was comfortable. The room was basic style. For the money I expected a bit more style. The ceasar salad was all lettuce..not good. No soup was available. Breakfast was a fruit salad full of pineapple core pieces...not good. Bathtub has no hand rails for support..that's dangerous.

I didn’t appreciate the fact that I came in person and explained to Jutti (not sure if I’m spelling it right) that I wanted to make sure that my nephew Matthew wasn’t stressed about checking in or checking out. it was enough that he and his wife were attending the wedding. I specifically told him to charge the room to me. I was at the hotel just after 10 am on Saturday May 13. Matthew was asked to give his credit card for a deposit. I asked Jutti to make sure that this doesn’t happen. How could he forget 2 hrs later.

Short stay, but everything was very clean and comfortable.

We asked for close rooms and initially they had us stay at different floors. When we mentioned the request they offered us queens instead of kings, but the rooms were adjacent.

This is my 6th week visit to this hotel. The staff is lovely and the room is good.

I had a towel I brought from home that was pink and it was hanging on the back of my door and it went missing last week. I asked the front desk staff and they said they couldn't find it. I thought anything hanging (back of bathroom door) was NOT to be touched hence why i left it there, but now im worried OTHER things will go missing from my room. I am here again this week so I'm hoping it is returned to me.

The hotels is in a great location. It's away from heavy traffic. The back of the hotel has a lovely view of trees and a creek with lots of birds. The hotel entrance is welcoming, easy access to the rooms and a bar, restaurant located at the entrance. Very convenient. Our room was clean and had everything we need; coffee maker, refrigerator. The bathroom was clean and had the right amount of towels and soaps and paper cups.

Unfortunately, the bed blankets should be changed. The padding in between quilted sections have all bunched up making it extremely uncomfortable. The bed itself is quite soft but some people like it like that and it didn't stop me from falling asleep. The walls must be quite thin because we could hear everything. The people in the room next to ours which happens to be an adjoining room were so loud when they arrived at their room at 12:30am. Near to 1am, I did call out for them to be quiet and to my surprise, it worked! We did have a good night's sleep.

Lovely hotel near Barrie, it is not in the downtown area, more so close to the main highway, 400. The rooms were nice and staff friendly.

The main complaint with the room was the poor sound proofing.

Not the easiest location to find, no “heads -up Signage” to advise where & when to turn off the 400, particularly if you are a stranger to Ont. and the madness / volumes of the traffic on the 400 & 401 Highways!!! Not many attractive dining options in the immediate area!
