I love the scenery ... took an evening walk all along the beach and park in stormy wind. Took another early morning walk and the lake was like a mirror... so still and beautiful. Loved the weeping willows and Lombardy poplars and the gorgeous rose bushes. The receptionist was exceptional - friendly, helpful and showed care for the customers.

The bedroom floor wasn't mopped... my feet got dirty after a shower, just walking on the floor. Otherwise everything else in the cottage was well done!

The suite was extremely clean, very spacious, and comfortable. The kitchen was stocked with everything one would need to cook any meal. Florence, at front desk was very friendly and helpful. They even have fresh tomatoes from their garden for the guests. Very delicious! The coffee is a treat too. We picked this place because of it’s look, it’s location and positive reviews. We were not disappointed. We even wanted to stay longer, but due to the long weekend everything was sold out. Highly recommend this place, and definitely will stay at Sandy Beach again!!

It had a small boutique feel about it and it was in a great location. There is a lovely beach out front and beautiful flowers throughout the property. The owners were very friendly and helpful.

The unit we stayed in had a full kitchen in which we are used to finding basic condiments like salt and pepper and a few tea bags. This was lacking. Their coffee was quite good though.

The stay was good, staff was awesome. The only draw back was the renovation and the grounds and beach needs a good spring cleaning with some chairs to sit on the beach and the garbage bins emptied as they were full. Definitely would stay again

Beautiful lake front location, close to town, amazing staff, room upgrade to the house at the back of the property, friends who stayed in the lake front room with amazing views, free use of the pickleball court, gorgeous gardens, very useful bbq area with tables and built in seating for our group of 8 with the most amazing hanging baskets of flowers. Very clean as well. Tracy, the Manager was beyond accommodating, very friendly and so nice. She extended the golf pass to us as well as the upgrade. Thank you very much for an excellent stay! We were very lucky to get accommodations at this resort.

The location is excellent. In the summer it would be lovely to be right on this little piece of beach. The grounds are well kept and I love the communal grilling/picnic area. For a longer stay the kitchen has everything you need.

The sofa in the living room needs a good cleaning or a slip cover. We made our own using a spare blanket from one of the unused beds. In the summer the A/C being only in the main room would mean you'd have to sleep with bedroom doors open (lack of privacy in a 2 bedroom).

The suites were tiled floors / which is showing how clean the suites were. The view from most of the suites are of the lake. Great playground for little ones, even though we did not have grandbabies with us. They have filtered water so less soap required (dishes, showers, etc).

Very nice hotel with it's own beach.! Unfortunately we only stayed one night and arrived late... but the communication from the hotel was very good.! Very clean suite, comfortable beds, a sitting area and full kitchen with big table. A very good deal for the price....and nice surroundings included. Beach, playground, outside sitting areas and a great location. No splashy luxury, but an overlooked gem of super value and service. Definitely recommended.!

That we only stayed one night.!

Location was excellent, on a very nice sandy beach and across from a walkway on another lake and also close to town. Had great BBQ facilities and nice areas to eat outside with lots of outside chairs and each suite has a picnic table out front with other tables scattered around for more privacy. Had a little playground for small children. Suite was spacious and clean and beds were comfortable.

We decided to stay and BBQ instead of going out for dinner as the place was nicely set up for it and the weather was fine. Only thing is the kitchen is only stocked with very basic items with no cooking basics (i.e. oil, salt, pepper, etc) so we ended up buying basics which I would have brought had I known. The front desk did provide BBQ cooking utensils and had salt and pepper that someone had left behind but said they don't normally stock that stuff.

The location being by the beach and central is by far the best part of this resort. The views were also a huge bonus have a front porch that overlooks the beach and the lake. Also having a private beach to enjoy is awesome.

It is a little pricey but other than that nothing else to say.
