We took two rooms and used the sofa bed in both. The rooms were enormous and so spacious even whilst using the sofa bed. one room had a hot tub which was like an enormous bath and was great after a days hiking. The buildings were very attractive - all made from wood - in a stunning location right by a river. we were 11 km from Lake Louise and quite often saw wild life when travelling to and fro. We used the gym which was extremely well- equipped. We also used the fire pit areas set up beside the river at night time - these were great and very social (and introduced me to 'smores' which i had not heard of before) The swing seats by the river were a lovely place to sit and read. The kitchenette in one of the rooms was well equipped and we used this for all of us for breakfasts and some dinners. The shop at the reception desk was very handy for buying nice coffee and snacks to take out on walks. We used this location as a sping-board for Lake Louise, Moraine Lake and the Athabasca Glacier (the latter about 2 hours by car) We took the bus tours (which stopped at Baker Creek among others) to get up to see Lake Louise and Moraine Lake as otherwise you are not guaranteed access as the traffic is so congested there and they turn you away. These were very convenient but quite pricey. Value for money is a tricky one as the whole area is very expensive for decent accommodation. But for the space, attractiveness and location, i am sure we could not have fared better. Everyone loved it!

Can't think of anything!

We stayed in Baker Creek as a family with 2 kids. Our stay was quite comfortable. The kitchen is relatively well equipped, the coffee is very tasty. The beds are comfortable. All windows and a balcony door have mosquito net. The nature around the hotel is wonderful. You see at least one squirrel whenever you leave the house, they are literally everywhere in the resort. I don't understand the complaints about Wi-Fi. It worked very well in our house during our stay. It was very handy due to the absence of mobile connection. The shop has all the basic supplies and the hot dog was very tasty, according to my son. They have one washer and one dryer for shared use.

Probably the only inconvenience was the sound of the train horn on one of the nights. It’s very loud and can wake someone up. Everything about the hotel itself was perfect.

Incredible stay in Banff near Lake Louise - close to Johnston Canyon and Lake Louise but still accessible to Banff town. We had a creekside cabin with a loft and it was absolutely gorgeous - clean, spacious, well-decorated, and we could walk right to a firepit by the creek and the mountains. The sauna and gym is a nice touch for some down time when not hiking. Could not recommend this place more!

Wish there was a restaurant on site since dining options are limited in Lake Louise area, but that's not important enough to deter anyone from staying here! We drove back into Banff town on our final night for dinner.

It was amazing! The room was fantastic and had a great layout! I loved having the small living room to kick back in and listen to the creek through the balcony window with the fireplace going in the evenings. The kitchenette was well stocked in the event you wanted to prep a meal, and nicely laid out. Having two separate bedrooms was awesome and there was a washroom on each floor. The beds were very comfortable and having the jacuzzi tub in the loft was the icing on the cake! There were a lot of nice little touches to enhance the stay and the staff were welcoming and friendly (Felipe was outstanding!). I didn't get a chance to use many of the facilities but the fire pits were popular! The location is just perfect situated beside the creek. It was so peaceful and relaxing, and not being in town was exactly what I wanted. Still close enough to Lake Louise or Banff though, which both have a lot of dining options.

Nothing beyond the fact that I wish I could have stayed longer!

We loved the big soaker tub with jets. The huge king was very comfy. We loved being so close to both lake louise and sunshine ski resorts. We stayed in the main building beside the main office and the wifi was excellent!

Prior to arriving, we asked the staff if we could stay in the room until 11:30.AM We explained that my partner had a business meeting from 10-11:30 and it would have been super helpful for us if we could check out from the room right after the meeting instead of leaving early to find another place for him to have his meeting. The staff said no, that there is a strict check-out time of 11AM. I have never had a hotel be so rigid. So, that really put a damper on our trip and their 30 minutes allowance would have been so impactful.

Amazing location on the Bow Valley Parkway, where wildlife such as Bears and Moose are abundant. The property itself is in a great location next to a flowing creek, and there's multiple fire pits set up along the side of the creek The cabin was beautiful, and the REAL log fireplace was a highlight. Highlight of the stay was a close encounter with a Moose on one of the trails along the creek

For a Cabin that slept up to 6 people (1 x Queen & 2 x Double beds) the kitchen & bathroom were very small. The toilet was also positioned such that larger people would be likely be quite cramped/uncomfortable. Having a full-size fridge, plus oven and cooktop would've been appreicated, instead of the mini-fridge & portable hotplate that only had 2 elements. The cooktop in our cabin was also faulty, and staff had to borrow one from another cabin for us to use. Vehicles have to be parked at the front of the property - they couldn't be parked at the cabins. The railway lines are approximately 100m away, so something to consider for light sleepers.

The setting along Baker Creek is beautiful. The log cabin was cozy and well appointed. It even had a record player, and records (by Canadian artists. The small kitchen is usable. The bathroom clean with a modern shower.

The lack of a television ( the NBA playoffs were on) was annoying, and the WI-FI couldn’t handle streaming it to my phone, and cell coverage was sketchy. Getting up and down the ladder to the loft is challenging for some folks, especially in the dark of night when nature calls. There’s some construction going on, or, at least, construction materials and unfinished structures strewn around that detract from the natural beauty of the place.

The location is absolutely beautiful, surrounded by nature with a peaceful atmosphere. We especially enjoyed the outdoor area—perfect for relaxing and exploring. The firewood station was a great touch, well-stocked and convenient for cozy evenings. One of the highlights was the complimentary high-quality coffee setup, including a V60 pour-over with rich, flavorful coffee—a nice professional touch that made our mornings even better. Highly recommended for a comfortable and memorable cabin experience.

No cell signal, extremely poor satellite internet (almost unusable), and no TV.

Comfortable and cozy room.

Considering that the nearest restaurant is ~15 minutes away, it was surprising how poorly stocked the room was. While there was a bar fridge, kettle and coffee maker, there was no cutlery (not even a spoon to measure the coffee), and no plates or bowls. There were mugs and glasses, but no dish soap or paper towels. There were only two coat hangars and no hooks on which to hang things -- not well equipped for outdoor enthusiasts. There was a large empty wall behind the door that could be well used for lots of coat hooks and a vented shelf on which to put mitts, helmets etc.

The place is beautiful, right on the creek with wildlife to see on the property. The location couldn't be better. I also liked being disconnected from the cloud during our stay, allowing you to connect with your surroundings.

The dates were mixed up during the booking process somehow when booked 2 weeks in advance. Trying to rectify the issue yielded frustrating results and I ended up being charged for 1 night that we didn't stay for. The place is expensive and there should be something in place for situations such as these. Now I'm out $500 CAD approx.
