Great location Staff were very helpful Pool area lovely with a fantastic view Good value for money Lots of wildlife around Free wood/ kindling Warm cabins. Lots of parking including heated parking areas.
Initially we were in a smaller ground floor room. The room felt dark and not the cleanest. Next door/ above were using their log burner and it smelt very strongly of smoke as did our belongings even though we didn’t use it. Loud noise from the people above, which resulted in having to contact reception in the middle of the night. The staff were very helpful and acted quickly to rectify this. We were offered the option to move rooms to an upper floor which we did. Room was much more spacious, brighter and less noisy.

Rooms were quite large and comfortable, they were stocked with everything needed for the weekend. We did not use the bbqs becasue of tempetures outside but its nice to have that option. The hot tub and pool area was great. I really liked that the hot tub and pool were sperate so the kids could splash in the pool and not disturb the people relaxing in the hot tub.
The buildings are just wood frame building so if you are on the bottom floor like we were you can hear every footstep from the people above. It can be a problem because people really like to use this resort for bachelor/bachelorette parties. If your looking for a quite night I'd request a top level floor.

Checking in was so smooth! The staff monitored our reservation requests closely and our apartment was very inviting. They had a dog bed and bowls set out by the fireplace which made my pup feel so welcome. The hot tub, pool and sauna were lovely. The view of the mountains and decor of the lounge space made us feel like we were living in luxury. I also loved that their lodge was set up like a village with a playground and barbecue areas in the center. It felt community oriented and safe. The staff also provided complimentary bus passes which was a wonderful option to get around. Unfortunately, pets needed to be able to fit in a carrier to ride the bus, so most often we drove into town, which was equally as easy since there is a designated free parking lot next to the train station. The downtown area is set up really well for handling visitors and we thoroughly enjoyed walking around and checking out the shops and restaurants. The gondola was one of our favorite experiences.
The resort was a bit of a drive out of downtown. That issue was easily resolved by the staff's friendliness to provide bus cards, and advice on transit. The location is in a great spot for hiking trails on tunnel mountain! The chairs at the table were wobbly and in need of repair, but we set the most treacherous ones aside, and managed fine with seating on the couch. They don't list A/C on their property details, but we found the lofted beds got quite hot. We visited in end of May/early June and got a fortunate week of sunny and 70's (Fahrenheit) or around 21 degrees (Celsius). The fans they did provide helped significantly, but one of them didn't seem in proper working order as a burning smell stopped us from using it. We would certainly book here again and loved our stay.

This property is amazing. It is up the hill from downtown Banff, with beautiful views of the mountains from the rooms and pool. The warm pool was the perfect temperature. We could have stayed there all day with our 1.5 year old and 5 year old. The pool, hot tub, and sauna were roomy and not crowded. Once the kids went to bed in their own room and level, it was a thrill to light a fire in the fireplace with their free and plentiful wood, and reflect on the days wonderful sights over a glass of wine. Oh! There were elk roaming the entrance to the property one afternoon, so we didn't even have to go chasing after wildlife to spot them. The kitchen appliances were all in solid working order, taking young kids out for every meal can get exhausting. This was an excellent home base to explore the area.

the view was insane and was so peaceful. access to the hottube and pool and sauna was great, despite the rain. parking was also relatively easy and we had no issue parking outside our apartment. great use to the free bus passes.
we were on the bottom apartment and had people above us and they were extremely loud during the night in regard to someone walking or even running around and it u fortunately kept us awake so the floor boards and roof must be very thin. not having a restaurant or anything on site can be a bit of a pain due to having to go into town for everything but it wasn't an off put.

Location was excellent. Room was spacious and the bed was really comfortable. Jacuzzi was very relaxing after a day out in the mountains BBQs are set up outside for usage which is really practical, kitchenette has basic equipment for cooking. The personnel were really helpful Mountain bike rentals for $30/day was very practical.
The Banff area has become very expensive, I paid $560/night including taxes during the week which is overpriced for what is offered. No restaurant, no food store close by, you need to go into Banff where there is literally very little parking for food stores/restaurants. The room is spacious but very worn down. The coffee in the rooms needs to be improved as it really did not taste good (small detail). Bathroom was small and worn out. There is limited maid service which you must request in advance and explain exactly what you would like done each day otherwise you will find your room the way you left it when you get back from your hike in the evening.

We stayed here for two weeks in late April, 2024. We Loved it. The hotel is a little out of town but it was an easy ride on the free bus. Having firewood (we are not good at starting fires) and the great spa was nice as it was still very cold. Walking distance to the Hoodoo's. We walked tunnel mountain to town several times. Having a small kitchen was great for such a long stay. There were always plenty of towels and we asked for extra blankets as I turned the heating off at night.
The rooms are quite old inside (guess this is reflected in the price). Our carpet was dirty and had burn marks near the fire. The furniture was old but solid. We had to ask for a fry pan and bought some new sharp knives from the IGA as what was in the room didn't cut it!

We loved the room. It was large and spacious. Perfect for a family of four. There was some storage room. We liked the open fire in the room. The hot pool and the views from it were great. It was good to have a free bus pass included.
You had to get two buses to get anywhere. The ironing board was broken. The kitchen sink wouldn't drain. The bathroom sink plug was broken. We had to ask twice for more dish washing tablets. One day our dirty towels were not collected and the rubbish was not collected.

The setting was beautiful and overall it had everything we need. The beds were clean and made daily just like a hotel and we had fresh towels every day. The view was amazing and the hot tubs are nice.
It is a little dated: pain flicking off on balcony, furnitures looking a little old and the dishwasher was rusty and loud, carpet everywhere (which is not the most hygienic…) but at the end of the day we had everything we needed and it was comfortable. The beds were clean and made daily just like a hotel and we had fresh towels every day. It have would been nice to have a little playground for kids as we had a toddler and there was nothing to entertain him.

Good size apartment with required facilities. Kitchen had everything needed to cook for ourselves. Had a nice view of mountains from our back door. Heating worked well and quickly! Bed was comfortable and spacious.
We were on the bottom floor so were subjected to very noisy people above us. Every movement could be heard which was not a massive issue in the day, however some people were not quiet at night.
