A bit old, breakfast not good value (for this price of resort)

The staff and the location were top notch. We couldn't have asked for a better place to spend a week away. The staff were unbelievably friendly and made my daughter's stay exceptional. A room opening to the beach was paradise. We loved the convenience of having the beach in our backyard. My 2 year old spent the whole day playing in the sand, the ocean and the pool. We will definitely be making this a regular destination.

The rooms could use some maintenance and updating. The plaster was peeling in our shower, we had ants in the bathroom and the toilet didn't flush well, but we were happy to overlook these things due to the wonderful staff and paradise-like location.

The whole day from start to finish was just wonderful. The staff could not have been more welcoming and helpful. The pool Villa was extremely comfortable and for us, it was preferable to a beach villa. It was easy to hire mopeds through the hotel. The beach and the sea were perfection. The fact that the resort is so small made the whole experience feel exclusive, and as if our comfort was a priority for the whole staff team. Breakfast was absolutely brilliant with lots of choice and great coffee! It was also easy to arrange onward travel through the hotel. We would absolutely definitely return, the whole stay was wonderful.

Nothing, this is an exceptional resort

The location on the beach was great and the pool villa was amazing. It was a treat for us to have our own pool. The food in the restaurant was good. The hotel layout was attractive.

The trouble with high prices is that it means high expectations. Sadly I was disappointed that the hotel was at the busy end of a public beach and next to the road. There were no loungers on the actual beach unless you had a beach villa. The staff member at the bar spent most of his time on his phone and seemed disengaged. Unfortunately we were disturbed by a loud party in the pool villa next door to ours. A group of 8 drinking and shrieking around their pool all day and into the night. Not the hotel’s fault but not great for a hotel advertising itself as perfect for a peaceful and relaxing vacation.

First impression a very good welcome. Accommodation excellent we had a pool villa and always very clean. We appreciated the free water and the free ice cream was a nice touch. Location very good, beautiful beach and easy walk to a selection of restaurants (mermaid very good) we eat dinner the first night and the food very good but the wine very expensive (3x what we have been paying and double what you pay in other restaurants on the island) also they offer a choice of wine but not available? Breakfast good selection but the staff were never on top of replenishment you always had to ask if things ran out. We loved the resort and location so would come back.

On our departure day we had to leave at 8am. We went to reception to pay the bill at 7.30 it was closed. We had breakfast at 7.50 our taxi arrived and I had to go twice to the restaurant to as if I could check out and pay the bill. Eventually we paid the bill that was wrong and asked them to check it was the correct transfer. This compared to all the other pick ups on the way to the ferry, where staff were waiting with the guests, handing them chilled water as they boarded the taxi was a very disappointing last impression of the resort. 🙁

I would like to thank the team at Tinkerbell Resort Hotel from the bottom of my heart. I spent two unforgettable weeks with my mother away from civilisation on the beautiful island of Koh Kood and all the two weeks we were surrounded by the care and warmth of the wonderful people working in this hotel! Lovely, friendly and helpful, they were always willing to help. I would like to say a special THANK YOU to the restaurant team, they are all not only very pleasant in communication, but professionals. Special thanks to Khun Thach Chheang she did a wonderful job along with her team - Laeng Rin, Sarorn So and Charlotte! Thank you very much dear girls, we love you and miss you a lot! You made us smile every morning when we entered the restaurant and every evening when you opened another bottle of Prosecco with great professionalism! We have warm memories of you! We would also like to mention the excellent work of the front desk, thank you Tihlaree! The ladies who gave us a wonderful, very professional massage every day - Nit and Anny, thank you! Thank you to the bartender - Tung for a wonderful job! Unfortunately we don't know the rest of the staff names, but we would like to say thank you to all of them - room cleaners, gardener, pool and beach staff and cleaners. They all work very hard to make your stay pleasant! The location of the hotel is also very pleased, the bungalow is right on the beach! What else can you want when you are on the island:)! Of course, it would be nice to renovate the hotel a little (light renovation of the rooms, because in some places the plaster is falling off). But believe me, these are all small things compared to the great attitude you are surrounded by when you stay at Tinkerbell Privacy Resort Koh Kood!

We had the best staff experience ever...we came on the island with our 12 month old baby not knowing what to expect since it was our first big trip with baby on sandy beach island...in 12 nights that we spent on the island the staff became so friendly with our boy that he started crying once we left the island since those were his new best friends..as a memory he took home toy gifts that staff bought him for his 1st birthday..if we ever visit Koh Kood again we only wish all the same staff will be still working there..

Unbeatable location in the most gorgeous stretch of beach. Google TV in the rooms (for casting). Breakfast omelettes were perfect!the grounds and flora are super well maintained. Rooms are thoroughly cleaned day.

The rooms themselves are fantastic, but I think they could do with a little reviving. Staff could do a better job of explaining what's in offer. The lady who checked us in didn't mention any information whatsoever. Like water sports, excursions, what's happening in other resorts etc

The location is wonderful on a great beach. We had a beach villa with our own private area for sun beds. That was great. The view from the room. We were missing chairs and a table on the terrace but we fixed that from the room. They should have that though. It is lovely to sit there and watch the sunset. The restaurant has a big variety and we are a wonderful dish for lunch. Chicken with Red curry & Peanut butter sauce. The combo was fantastic.

It is classified as 5 star but we think it is more like 4 star because some parts are a little dated. Quite expensive.

Very good location and very welcoming and friendly staff, quite good cuisine.

It’s not that clean as should be in the hotel of this price. Stained bed covers and towels. People from swimming pool rooms (second line) allow themselves walk to the beach through the territory, belonging to your room in spite of signboard “private property”. No attractions, activities or entertainment in or around the hotel, just beach relax. Very quiet island.
