Beautiful hotel with nice rooms. The receptionist is so nice that she makes you to feel home. Location of the hotel is close to city center and is just in front of the river. All attractions are close by. Welcome Card is an added benefit. Breakfast was excellent but with limited choices. Free parking in the backside of the hotel. Easy check in and check out.

Everything about this hotel was truly top‑notch, exceeding expectations in every way. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that every detail had been carefully thought out to create an exceptional guest experience. The dining options deserve special praise—dinner at the on‑site restaurant was absolutely outstanding, with beautifully prepared dishes, rich flavors, and a warm, inviting atmosphere that made the evening unforgettable. Breakfast the next morning was equally impressive, offering a generous variety of fresh, high‑quality options that catered to every taste and made for a perfect start to the day. Every element of our stay felt elevated, polished, and genuinely memorable.

The only aspect of this hotel that I would consider changing would be the beds. While so many other elements of our stay were exceptional, the beds unfortunately did not meet our usual high standards for comfort. They felt firmer and less supportive than we had hoped, and after such a long day of travel and activities, we were really looking forward to a restful night’s sleep. A simple upgrade in mattress quality or bedding would make an already outstanding hotel experience truly perfect.

Location was easily accessible by bus. We travelled to Innsbruck on train from Zurich and was able to get the bus from the train station straight to the hotel. Register with the hotel prior to arrival so that you can get the Innsbruck tourist pass which gives you free travel on local buses and free or reduced entry to various sightseeing spots. This is really highly recommended. Nice view of the mountains from the hotel. We had a large room which was comfortable. Breakfast is good with essentials available but now a huge variety but sufficient. Hotel feels cosy with a family run feel.

Room amenities limited. No shower cap, slippers etc. just soap and shampoo from dispenser. I always feel that this extra touch makes the hotel feel more homely and also less stress for travellers to have to carry.

Front desk was very helpful. They booked a taxi for me on the return journey. Also, gave me advice on driving into Italy through the Alps in the winter. Having the restaurant in the motel is pretty helpful but make sure you have reservations for the weekends.

Putting two twins/fulls together is not a comfy sleeping experience. You cannot spread out in the middle of the bed. I think my room was advertised as a Full or a Queen. The comforters were also too small and built to fit each individual bed that were combined. Not the best sleeping experience.

Breakfast was nice and had plenty choices. Sometimes at 8am the bread was running low already but not a big deal. Location was pretty good with plenty bus stops around. We were given the Innsbruck welcome card which made going around free. We were worried about being next to s busy road, the the windows are triple glazed so no noise from road disturbed us. We also didn't hear any neighbours which is great. Very helpful staff and always ready to help. Clean facilities and hotel in general. Food in the restaurant very tasty with plenty choices.

The mattresses were a little hard so we didn't sleep that well as we re used to a soft mattress but I guess that's up to preference and habits. Pillows were also a little too soft. The rooms were very very hot so we ended up opening the windows for some fresh air.

Very clean, great breakfast, quiet, great location to walk the path along the river and go to the cool town. There was no need to drive anywhere, since we had not planned to do more than that. When you are facing the building, the parking entrance is on the left side of the building. The receptionist will give you a code to drive back there.

Just know that the 70s style is new; it's not old stuff. It is only made to look 70s, i.e. the shag carpet in one area of the room and the colors of the decorations.

The facilities were wonderful and they actually have air conditioning in the rooms, which for an American in Europe is a total bonus! The staff was absolutely wonderful and patiently and pleasantly answered all the questions we had (and we had a fair few).

Parking for a car was tight. Once night, when I got the last spot available, it was so tight between the adjacent cars, I had to exit my car through the hatchback door. The hotel isn't particularly near a bus stop, so using local transit and letting the car sit was possible, but not a great option. Although the air conditioning was great, it was only a "one shot" deal. It got the temp to where you set it and then stopped. If the room got hot again, you'd have to physically go to the control and start it again.

We came early and was well greeted. The lady excused herself for a minute and went upstairs, she came back with the happy news our room was ready. They prepared a brkfst box for us as we were leaving early. Pointed out all to see in the city. Excellent hospitality throughout Clean and very well appointed rooms that still seem modern. We had dinner at the Hotel, fab Austrian cuisine, very reasonable priced.

I absolutely loved my stay at the Dollinger. The location is perfect and is close to just about everything. It's just outside the main busy city center so it's quiet and peaceful. The staff are all amazing, especially the girls at the front desk. They help you with everything and also gave me a special card for free busses and trains that helped so much. The place is very clean and organized and has air conditioning, which in this heat is essential for a good night's sleep. The food at breakfast and the restaurant were exceptional! I'm coming back to stay here at the end of my trip a few more days before I leave. I highly recommend it!

Our family of 4 stayed for one night in 2 rooms with a nice view from our windows overlooking the mountains. The hotel was easy to reach by car. We had dinner at the hotel and the food was good. Breakfast was included in our stay and was also good. Parking is available but very limited.
