Nice and cozy pension. Close enough to the motorway to make a stop and far enough to have a rest without disturbance. The building is nice with a lot of wood. The rooms can be accessed outside of the reception hours as well with the key locker. The breakfast was delicious.

We planned to have a dinner at the restaurant, but because of a national Holiday it was closed, which was surprising. You need some basic German understanding to get all the info.

I recently stayed at a lovely pension for New Year's, and I can't recommend it enough! The couple who runs the place were incredibly welcoming and attentive. Everything was spotless and well-maintained, making for a perfect stay. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, which added to the overall experience. If you're looking for a clean and charming place to relax, this pension is definitely the way to go!

The location is excellent. Close to the motorway, yet very quiet. The breakfast was great as well. Everything was really tasty

We had some communication issues as we didn't speak much German and the staff didn't speak much English. This led to a very stressful misunderstanding where I was told there was no room for us as they are completely booked. We eventually got it sorted but I found the experience very problematic.

The location is excellent for those who are traveling south. Very close to the highway. We arrived quite late, it looked like the kitchen was closed, but they warmly offered us to have dinner anyway.

The motel is located directly on a local road and it is very difficult to sleep with the windows open, especially in the morning when the trucks and tractors start driving. Sleeping with the windows closed in the summer is also not an option.

Very clean and comfortable. Bed was the best I've slept in! Excellent shower and good to have a balcony and beer cooler too. Staff so helpful and accommodating. Breakfast was fantastic. Location was 5 mins from motorway en route to Hungary from Calais. Will definitely stay again!

The breakfast was excellent also the breakfast room and the dinner in the evening at the terrace.

Our room was at the street side and when you are sleeping with an open window there is a lot of noise from traffic. It begins already early in the morning.

Excellent location, lovely village and very good breakfast and dinner.

The room worn balcony was OK but it meant others next door were on their balcony till late at night and were talking too loudly. We needed to sleep but couldn't until they went indoors.

Staff are very accommodating. The price was very good for a night including breakfast (small breakfast buffet has everything you need). It was lovely and quiet and cozy.

Not typical as other hotels nowadays

Brocken lights in the bathroom. It was also a bit cold in the room. You feel like everything is very old but for one night or two it’s okay to stay.

Our 2nd time in Landgasthof Penn. Overnighted with 2 kids. Clean rooms, good beds, excellent breakfast, and available parking for free. Friendly English-speaking staff.
