staff were amazing friendly and warm, the decor of the tavern & drink selection catered to a wide range of tastes. The food at the restaurant exceeded all expectiations outstanding!!!!! - absolutely delicious! hassle free check in and conveniently located 30 mins from emerald. The rooms were clean, modern and spacious - with all the amenities you would need inclu a/c, kettle, toaster, glasses and mugs, outdoor area for sipping afternoon drinks, the pool was a hit with my 7YO all with the convenience of the tavern to relax and unwind after a long drive. We stayed here on our way to Townsville. The perfect halfway point to relax and recharge. Would highly recommend and would definately viist again!

We loved the Staff, particularly the cook, I think that we were quite spoiled by her, and her tastey potatoe Bake. The food was excellent and the rooms whilst not huge were very neat tidy and cosy. But the key to enjoying the stay were the friendly staff with in the Tavern, they were just Brilliant and made us feel very very welcome. I will never forget them.

No foxtel, Dated TV,s with no Foxtel. In my opinion if you are running regional hotels, with dated television sets that are not streaming capable, they there should be at least the full suite of Foxtel channels available, it's 2024, not 1982 and regional and rural television programs are just not enjoyable for viewers. However this will not deter me from returning to this place in the future.

Everything, it was clean quiet and quite good value for money, with a Country pub attached to it

Not much lighting outside the rooms at night when trying to pack/unpack the vehicle. No Smart TV either, so that sux in the modern age of streaming services that you can log in and out of. Every hotel should have a smart TV as a standard option these days, as they aren't that expensive anymore.

Large rooms with open windows and fly screens for fresh air. Quite location . Good parking and great tavern for meals. Bottle shop as well if required. Clean and modern interior. And fittings. Good size desk and office chair.

No place to put suitcase off the floor . Would have loved a second chair.

It was great to find a place that welcomed our dog, she is well behaved and hardly sheds, doesn’t bark, but so many places are cancelling dog stays. We have stayed here a few times now and she is always welcome and they don’t charge extra.

Our room was very clean and quite modern and looked better than the pictures shown on the website. The shower was huge with excellent shower pressure and very hot, hot water. Large writing desk and modern cupboards for clothing and toaster etc...

We left early and struggled to find the drop off box for the key. No sign on it.

The staff was exceptionally friendly and accommodating, ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere throughout my stay. The prices were surprisingly reasonable, offering great value for the quality of service provided. The highlight, however, was the outstanding food—delicious and diverse, catering to various tastes. I highly recommend this hotel for an all-around excellent experience. Value for money.

The staff were friendly, it was good pub food, nice quiet location.

There wasn't an exhaust fan in the bathroom, there was a stain on the sheet, had to ask the cleaner for a fresh towel and supplies on 4th day

Comfortable room with parking right out the front amd next to the tavern for a cold beer and a meal, which was delicious.

No where to sit outside the room that was not in full sun. Undercover parking would be brilliant too.

Good big space in the room and bathroom, room for a cot & little play space for bub. Next door to the bar & restaurant. Good car parking space.

Aircon would not blow air constantly & felt a bit hot at times.
