A really nice, comfortable motel room just a few km's from the centre of Mudgee in the middle of wine region, my wife and I stayed there for a few nights for the Mudgee Field Day. In typical 'motel style' the car parking space was out the front of the room which made everything easy. The room was immaculately clean, warm and super secure (with electric window blackout shutters) so we had a few great nights (quiet) sleep on a really comfortable mattress. We caught an Uber ($15) into the town a few nights for some meals and to be honest we really enjoyed the stay. The owners were extra nice and friendly, and their lovely dog 'Patch' wandered around the grounds and was a fun little feature of the hotel, checking in on everyone... :-) Would absolutely recommend this motel 100%.

Nothing really - the distance to the town was an issue one night when we couldn't get an Uber but we waited about 20 minutes for a taxi so all was good.

The friendliness right from the reception to the cleaners. The location in such a calme,quiet and relaxing environment in the country side but close to Mudgee facilities and well positioned to go and visit others small towns. We loved both the gorgeous/friendly dog and her short morning conversation with the manager.

Outside light, when opening front door allowed many flying insects into room. To counteract this we had to place a towel along the bottom of the door to stop the insects coming inside. We suggest plastic/steel door liners to eradicate this problem.

The owners, Andrew and Gemma were very welcoming, and over our stay we got to know them better, lovely people. Location was tops, it was just out of town and my wife and I found it was a good quiet location. As it is winter, the room was warm and we both were very happy with the rooms layout. My wife and I never heard the traffic from the road, from our room at all, and that's what you want. Ample tea and coffee provided along with the good old fashion touch of biscuits provided. And, the staff were wonderful, and nothing was a problem. Excellent all round !!!!. Cheers, Philip and Cheryl Tamworth.

We liked everything, room was great, warm and comfortable. The staff were excellent and the the owner's Andrew and Gemma were great. Its a shame the weather was wet and cold which put a bit of a "damper on things".

Loved the location - just outside of town with beautiful views of the mountains and vineyards. So quiet! The room was so cosy, very clean, and comfortable (newly renovated). Had a mini fridge which came in handy after buying a load of cheese from down the road! Loved the shutters, was able to sleep in due to how dark the room was! Lady at the front desk was so lovely and helpful.

Just personal preference, the pillows and matress weren't as comfy as I'd like. I like a firmer pillow and softer mattress. Despite this small issue, I'd definitely stay here again.

Excelent air conditioner, comfortable clean bed linen. Warm blankets. The bed has Electric blanket but the room and blankets were so warm we didn't need to use it. Blackout curtains. Tea, coffee, toaster. Everything was very clean and all supplies necessary. Clean iron and ironing board, hair-dryer. Beautiful shower with lots of toiletry supplies. Very comfortable room, very well maintained.

There was nothing i didn't like.

Very spacious & comfortable room. The king sized bed was comfortable and the TV was huge, which made it easy to watch. (Unlike some of the postage stamps you get in other places). We were greeted upon arrival by the very friendly owner who immediately made us feel welcome.

The bathroom, shower and toilet area needs updating as it looks quite old and dated. The property itself was a bit far out of town so you had to jump in the car to get there.

The motel was located in a lovely green Vineyard about 15 minutes outside of Mudgee. We were upgraded to a King size room which was lovely. the room had a large sofa and dining table plus there was a toaster and microwave as well as cutlery and plates which was great as we bought breakfast food. It was comfortable and peaceful. The price was great too.

Although it was no problem to us; it was not near town or within walking distance to restaurants.

This motel is a short distance (a five minute drive) outside Mudgee and so is lovely and quiet. The Motel is set quite a bit back from the road so you can't hear any traffic. The beds are comfy, the room very clean and the water plentiful and hot. The room contains a microwave and enough cutlery, with of course a corkscrew and wine glasses, for a meal.

There was nothing that could have been better

Lovely, well appointed, fresh feeling accommodation with friendly staff and a lovely dog. The property was exceptionally clean. Loved the location a few minutes out of town which made it very quiet at night. Unfortunately the common wall of the family room was so thin my pillow hummed all night from the noise of snoring coming through the wall from a fellow traveller in the room next door. I would definitely stay again but only if the room next door was guaranteed to be vacant.

Even with earplugs, i barely slept due to lack of sound proofing :(

Great water pressure in the shower. Lots of hot water. There was a really nice restaurant nearby (The Barn). Though probably a bit expensive for feeding a family!

Unfortunately, there was the loudest snorer in the next room. Perhaps the walls are lacking insulation? There didn't seem be a lot of guests so maybe it would be a good precaution to leave an empty room between guests?
