Very nice views over the bay, plenty of car parking, clean and tidy. Friendly staff. Close to the beach, about 1km drive down the hill and similar distance to the centre of the town...great location.

Small details were neglected like no coffee sachets were provided, incomplete cutlery and plates. We used to live on the tram line in the inner city Melbourne so traffic noise doesn't bother us but light sleepers may be affected by trucks air braking down the steep hill on the highway. Also sometimes we'd rather not have the room serviced but appears this motel will do so regardless.

Older style motel. Room 8. All the facilities I needed. None that I didn't. Everything was very clean. Everything worked. The shower was hot and strong. Very comfy bed with fab pillows. Best I ever rested my pretty head on. There are blankets on the bed, too. I do not like doonas. I found my room very cozy, warm, and comfortable. I had a good night's rest. The balcony with a view is a bonus.

Attention to detail was lacking, should be taking advantage of the old decor instead of trying to disguise it. Could be a real funky stay! No wine glass (if I remember correctly) cutlery and plates didn't match, can be easily replaced, would just add a bit of luxury without costing a fortune. Overall, it is a good place to stay very quiet despite being on the main road & the staff are really friendly and helpful. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm travelling through Eden.

we were upgraded to a room with a better view, at no extra charge, and after telling the owner that it was our anniversary he left us a beautiful little gift when he was cleaning the room during our stay. customer service was fantastic. would definitely recommend staying there.

there was limited availability to have food delivered to the room. especially on a Monday. you will need to drive to a restaurant or takeaway shop. and no apps (menulog or uber eats) available either. 🤔

Bayview motor inn has all the charm of yesteryear, with a whole lot of love and care. The room was immaculately clean! Fluffiest towels, beautiful linen and pillows, comfortable bed - great night sleep! Throughout the backyard area, well kept gardens, with outdoor seating, were an enjoyable way to spend the afternoon looking out over the stunning bay. Staff were warm and welcoming. Highly recommended this gem in Eden. Close to restaurants supermarkets with 5min drive. We'll be back!!

Nothing. Great place to stay.

We had a King Studio with View room. The room was very large and the view was to die for. Room had a front and back door giving access to the rear veranda where we sat and had a glass of wine while taking in the view. Also had large windows allowing the view to be seen from inside.

The property is starting to date but tradesmen were on site working on improvements. Could have done with some dishwashing liquid. No sink in kitchen area.

The view was amazing! You can see a big green lawn right outside the window, and also the sea straight from the balcony. The location’s super convenient too, only about five minutes’ drive to the town centre. The host was really lovely. We went out around 6 am to catch the sunrise and totally forgot our key, but he was nice enough to come and open the door for us. Really appreciate it!

Easy to find location, nice views out of your window to the Bay Area. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable about the area.

A little dated. Didn’t like that if you didn’t close the bathroom door fully and the curtains weren’t closed fully then anyone walking past would get a view of you sitting on the toilet.

It was super clean and the staff were really friendly and helpful. They even turned on the aircon so that the unit was nice and warm when I arrived (which was in winter). It was really easy to find and check in as well. Would love to come again.

Very friendly staff. Bed comfortable. Shower great. Nice view from the back of the motel. Good to have a microwave in the room. Good valvue for money.

Needs updating. There are no curtains on the window-only blinds that let the light in early.
