The location was good for access to Batemans Bay and to beaches, bays and trails along the coastline. The unit was well equipped and the beds were comfortable. The resort is in a nice garden setting.

The unit was very tired looking and a bit grubby in some places. Some of the windows were difficult to open. the light above the bed in one of the bedrooms was not working and appeared to be hanging precariously at an odd angle. I didn't find the host particularly approachable. Being opposite the pool could be a bit noisy at times, I wouldn't like to go during school holidays. I think the photos on booking .com are deceptive.

We absolutely loved staying here with our family of 5. Our place had plenty of room for the kids, three bathrooms meant everyone was happy, especially the pre-teen who got her own bathroom! The views were amazing, short walk to the beach. Kids loved keeping an eye out for the local seal basking in the sun on the rocks near the boat ramp. The kitchen had everything you needed to cook your own meals. Breakfast is best served up and eaten on the deck outside while enjoying the views :) Loved that the resort had a permanent food truck out the front, which meant donuts and coffee any time we wanted. So much to do on the property as well, which means you can have a quiet day at the resort and the kids will be happy (go karts, pool, playground, volleyball, mini golf and sooo much more). Value for money was great, very comparable to similar properties near by if not better! We would definitely come back!

Not much, only the fishermen heading out early in the morning, the noise of the boats and talking can wake you up...but they go pretty quickly and don't hang around. It should be expected if you are staying near a marina.

Convenient location and great for families as has huge amounts of space in the resort and good playground / kids activities. Not far from centre of town. The room was very quiet and comfortable at night. Kitchen in the Queenslander villas had the basics for self catering. It also had quite a large open plan dining / family / kitchen area for a cabin which made it feel quite large.

The room needed a thorough clean in some of the less easy spots. For example under the couch and around the fridge area looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in years. Was still a clean room generally and not a major drama. But probably just needs a deep clean every now and again. The communal bbq we tried to use was also pretty dirty / nasty looking so gave up on that.

2nd Easter we stayed, but this time, they sent text notifications to my phone to inform me of the family activities they had planned for Easter Sunday, family volleyball ( didn’t play ) and family Easter evening putt putt golf competition, with prizes, free of charge. ( which we had a blast playing, got a prize for hole in one, but didn’t win over all ☹️)

No fault of property, more other guests, All the fire pits where taken, people were hogging the fire pits from afternoon, onwards and had them for hours, only got one when they finally left after 11pm, to which it started raining as soon as I got the fire going again. Other guests were so rude and possessive over the fire pits, 4 fire pits and every night I missed out, 😤maybe installing more pits as I came organised with fire wood and everything ready for nights around the fire, but no luck getting one.

It was in a great location for us and very affordable. We loved the facilities and really enjoyed the feel of the resort with lots of other families being around. It was very relaxed and the grounds were well maintained. Our room was clean and we had everything we needed.

The cabins are quite dated and look like they were made cheaply but it didn’t affect us at all. A couple of doors didn’t lock properly and the airconditioner didn’t do much but we were still comfortable with the ceiling fans and windows open. For the price we were more than okay with these things.

Great spot, the villa we stayed in was clean and well equipped. It was comfy, had aircon and good space. The staff were helpful and friendly.. facilities were good for the toddler.

The only minor issue we had was the French doors on the villa we stayed in didn't have a bolt on one of the doors so our toddler could open the door from the inside and go adventuring, which is not ideal! The staff tried to help us though and we were able to sort out a solution but maybe if you have an adventurous toddler double check which villa you're booking in to or make a note of it so they can choose the best cabin for you.

It just had a very nice pleasant vibe. The bungalows were spacious with large balconies and were in good condition. We could bring our dog for a small fee. The staff were all really friendly. The location was within walking distance to Batemans bay town centre and restaurants and awesome beaches were a short drive away. They had a great little caravan serving coffees and donuts near the entrance in the morning

The fencing around the riverfront was a bit shabby and not super welcoming but it was raining when I was there so that probably played a part.

Unit was spacious. Undercover area was large and nice to sit at. Quiet locations. Loved cooking with gas cooktop. A/C worked well. Bathroom was adequate. Bedrooms were good size. Bunk bed frame was very sturdy, mattresses felt thick (didn't sleep on bunks so not sure how comfortable they were). Lots of activities for children to do. Nice, easy walk to places. Dog friendly was great. Staff friendly and helpful. Would stay again

Lounges were uncomfortable and sagged in middle. Screen door would have been handy. If you wanted to leave door open for air, you got bugs in unit. A little coffee table would have been handy in loungeroom to put cuppa or drink on when watching TV. Could have been cleaner. Fans were extremely dirty, didn't want to turn them on, as didn't want to get particles on bed. We got a foot mat for entrance area to wipe feet on as dirty from covered outdoor area came into unit and then it was walked through unit.

It has everything you need - pool, BBQ, waterfront (not beach though, still lovely), playground, and the resort is so big it has street names. The 2-bedroom waterfront cottage was spacious, well equipped, with a very large balcony and a bathtub on the outdoor balcony - a first! There was also a BBQ on the veranda, which came in handy. Air on works well.

There was a smell of humidity, borderline mold, in the cottage - but we are sensitive to that and other people probably would not notice it. The bathroom is relatively small and without hooks for towels and shelves for toiletries - again, other people might not mind, especially without young kids. It would be nice to have table lamps in the living room and both bedrooms as there was only one in one bedroom.

I've always booked here when I visit batemans bay. To say I love it here is a understatement! Location, people, vibe, villas are fantastic! Will always come back to this little golden gem.

I noticed in the showers, some black mold accumulating.. a lighter wasn't present for me to light the stove tops (lucky I'm a smoker and had my own lol). Was a tad bit weirded out by the blood spot we found on the blacket, they tried to cover with white sheets.. more on pourch to. and the place didn't have tongs!! Cooks need tongs lol. Suggestion: make available a free satchel of washing powder to each cabin depending on how many is staying.
